Wilson's agent, "He took less so Seahawks could keep Wagner"

I'm sure Wilson could have squeezed a few more buck out of the team, but I'm not sure why agents (or players for that matter) feel the need to poke and prod fans and media after the fact. The deal Wilson got was perfectly fair (in football terms), now if I'm a player (Wilson) I would expect my...

    Great article on Lockett

I like what Lockett can do as a return guy this season (I think of Leon Washington type numbers as the season goes on and the guy adjusts to the NFL speed), but as far as a full-time WR THIS YEAR I think he will be ok/good but won't get enough touches with guys like Baldwin (in the slot) and...

Seahawks and Wagner beginning extension discussions

Unless one of these guys has a catastrophic injury this year, they will both be on the Seahawks come the start of next season and beyond. Both guys will get signed and both guys will get paid, When that happens, who knows.

Biggest threat to the Seahawks winning another Lombardi

If Seattle gets home field again in the playoffs, I don't see anyone stopping another run to the Superbowl. Seattle played one of the worst games in the NFCCG and Green Bay played a nearly perfect game and for one reason or another they STILL couldn't beat Seattle. As for the "biggest threat" I...

What are we going to do about Okung

Honestly, Okung falls in the same category as every other player. He has a value to the team (higher than some guys, but he is not a top 5 guy and maybe only a top 10-12 guy with all his injures, IN MY BOOK), I would love to see a healthy Okung on the team for another 3-4 years, but as we all...

Brooks ranks Wilson 4th best QB

At this point i would say Wilson is easily a top 10 QB. If I were to put him in a slot I would say 6th or 7th. No matter what, The Seahawks are a based on a solid defense first, a power running game second and a QB making something out of nothing 3rd. Because the team is based on 1 and 2 first...

    NFC West Predictions

Pre draft and before FA is TRULY over, I would say.... Seattle- 12-4 maybe 13-3 I don't see the Hawks losing at home (maybe Pit, Det or AZ gives them a bit of a run, but Seattle wins in the end) so 4-4 or 5-3 on the road seems pretty realistic (tough games against GB, Balt, AZ, Cin, Rams and...

    O'line. Two holes to fill.

I can't see the team coming out of this draft without drafting 2-3 O-linemen and 2-3 DE/DT. They have holes to fill and depth issues at the moment on both lines and the team would be insane not to draft some guys for the present and for the future. I also would be shocked if the team doesn't end...

    What is Bruce Irvin worth?

I'm not a huge fan of Irvin, but he is a decent/good player, that has developed his game a bit. If he left today and the team inserted KPL into his spot I would be more than happy with that. As for what Irvin is worth, I would guess a 5th or 6th, I really don't see to many teams giving up a 3rd...

Wagner and Wilson not going to get done this year?

I don't pretend to know how the team works their players contracts and salary cap. With that said I would guess the team has a plan in place (shocker) and I would bet at least one them gets done this year and the other next season. I don't see either of them going anywhere (especially Wilson :P ).

    Kevin Williams

Depending on what happens in the draft I would be all for having Williams back if some of the young guys don't look ready to roll. I just wonder what the D-line will look like after the draft. The team has a number of guys who are in a make or break camp I would guess. Think of the guys lined up...

    Jeron Johnson signs with Redskins

Good for him, he's a solid backup and solid special teams guy. Maybe he will get a chance to start in the "other" Washington.

Cowboys to sign Greg Hardy (Seahawks out)

Hummm, from reading (and watching the ESPN piece) he seems like a bad guy. But then reading further it seems like it turned into a he said, she said argument, that turned physical by both people. Then the final outcome was the woman not showing up to court and taking some amount money from him...

Jesse Williams Signed to a new deal (Official Per Condotta)

I was wondering if the team was going to bring him back on re-worked deal. Glad to hear he's going to get one last shot, he seems like he could be a good rotational guy from his college days if he could stay healthy, but that's a big IF at this point in his nonexsistent NFL career.

Seahawks out of hunt for Andre Johnson (Signed w/ Colts)

Hopefully if the price is right the Seahawks can pull off getting AJ. The offense would be light years better in the passing game after these new moves, but I still wonder what will be done with the O-line, probably a lot of draft picks competing.

Oline and DT, anyone else in FA worth looking at?

Plus I wouldn't doubt that Kevin Williams is still in the mix at the vet min if they cant fill with a younger option. I bet he still has something in the tank after a solid year as a rotational guy. Hopefully he won't have to play as many snaps this time around though if he comes back.

    Seahawks Signed Will Blackmon

Depth and competition, nothing wrong with bringing in vets, but I would guess some young guys will be given every chance to win jobs and push for playing time. All I want is guys with big(er) upside and vets that can hold the fort and teach while those young guys develope.

Seahawks and 3 others offer Cary Williams a contract

Once again, if the price is reasonable, and the coaching staff thinks that he can push to start opposite Sherm then I'm all for it. The team needs to add depth and I would guess there will be a battle between vets and rookies for those 2-5 spots in the secondary.

Terry Blount and 8 FAs the Hawks may be in on

I would love to upgrade the LG spot with Iupati, but I think the price will be to much for the Hawks to take a shot at. I would guess they draft a couple of O-linemen and maybe bring back Carp if the price is right, but I won't be shocked if a team closer to the Alabama region (the south) snaps...
