    Any great defenses left?

Eh we only put up 24 on them, that's not terrible. They've given up 16, 13, 24, 24, 19 (OT), and 7 points. Wow, just laying that out there they are damn good. Haven't given up more than 24 period.

    Any great defenses left?

Ah, that's a good one. What's weird about them is that they don't have very many stars, they just seem to work together pretty well. Then again, they started out even better last year, especially in terms of turnovers, and got destroyed by good offenses later. We shall see.

Removing Ethan the key to the offense line stepping up?

Didn't realize how necessary :sarcasm_on: is

Did the Raiders Oline look familiar?

DB was also playing on a bum ankle sustained in the Cards game last year. Yes, Cable sucked, but he wasn't the cause of every single one of our offensive problems. Still very glad he's gone - Solari is much, much better. To your point, we got six sacks for -54 yards against that decimated...

    Penny frustrated, Pete likes it.

By far the best RB is too far. He played well, but I didn't see anything special YET from Penny, whereas Carson was breaking tackles left, right, and center and Mike Davis has pretty good lateral agility. Penny doesn't show off any high tier traits - he doesn't pop off the screen. If you're...

Did the Raiders Oline look familiar?

To be fair, and as much as TC pissed me off, they were onto their third string LG, were starting with a backup RT, and their rookie LT is playing hurt. This does NOT excuse Cable for putting out dogshit, fully healthy OL here for years.

    Any great defenses left?

Bears and Jags were supposed to be great and they got waxed today. Vikes have been very inconsistent. Is Dallas actually the best defense?

    Go Broncos!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup. No way in heck we can get that kind of pressure unless their OTs get hurt or decline severely. And also screw the Broncos, their D played amazingly well most of the game and their offense was straight garbage. How we let that offense compile almost 500 yards on us is baffling.

    Cowboys vs Jaguars

Haha I'm glad, even though I started Bortles in fantasy

Removing Ethan the key to the offense line stepping up?

Agreed, our OL depth might be tops in the league... crazy how quickly things can change with the right pieces and coaching.

4 wins? USA today predicted a 4-12 Hawks 2018 season.

Because the players need to shut up and play, dammit! :sarcasm_off:

This team should make the playoffs

All good responses. I think we need to beat the Rams in LA and I think we can.

Ben Allbright also predicted we'd have the #1 pick

This team should make the playoffs

Playing at this level, there's no reason they shouldn't. 7-3 over the next stretch seems tough on paper, but, again, if they continue to build on recent success, they should make it happen. I'm not sure if they will, but we should expect them to, barring any major injuries. Wright should be...

Removing Ethan the key to the offense line stepping up?

I hoped Pocic would improve a lot during the offseason with the added mass, but he was pretty disappointing.

710 (Salk) going on about Doug and Russ

I strongly disagree with this. Doug has arguably the best release off the line and us a top tier route runner. Put him with Brady and he's Wes Welker 2.0, definitely better than Edelman. Being in Seattle's system has absolutely hurt Doug's production potential.

    Where is the pass rush?

What's crazy is that there were some people here saying we might have a better pass rush because Dion looked great in limited time last year, Michael Bennett was washed up, Sheldon was undisciplined and ineffective, and Cliff was hurt most of the season.

Back to back penalty's on last drive the nail in the coffin.

It was 100% a hold. The consistency in it being called was a problem, but not the hold itself.

710 (Salk) going on about Doug and Russ

You're right, today was Bob and Jake. Salk actually started talking about this Wednesday and kept on through Thursday. Shoot maybe it even started Tuesday. I will check.
