Losing Unger is a death blow

Agree totally. Would be nice to resign lem

    My prediction

I think that this game demonstrated that the loss of max and mebane particularly will be too much to overcome. Hope we can resign Lem to partially mitigate the loss of max. Things just aren't breaking our way this year. Will still be fun to see us fight like crazy until the end of the season...

Looking forward - Free Agents next year

Correct me if I am wrong, but next year the following players will be unrestricted free agents: Earl Thomas Richard Sherman KJ wright Maxwell Smith Carpenter Baldwin Avril Farwell Next year, the following players will be in the last year of their contract Russ Lynch Okung Mebane Wagner Lane...

    Russell Wilson Contract (speculation)

$100 million over 8 years would be $12.5 million per year. I'm not sure that is high enough.

    Russell Wilson Contract (speculation)

I don't think that Wilson takes a hometown discount, either. Think about things from his perspective. He's been making peanuts since he came into the league. He will be about 27 years old when we can talk about a new contract. He is in a huge position of power, in that he plays a position of...

    Clemons and Sherman, Thomas

No argument that Clem is not a leader. His hard work to get back on the field is amazing. All I am saying that the cap has more of an influence on personnel moves than many think. Clemons' salary cap number is almost 10 million. Is that the best way to spend the money? We will see what...

    Clemons and Sherman, Thomas

Agree Walrus. Watching the film, Clem generally is not double teamed, and the push that he gets into the backfield is not what it has been in the past.

    Clemons and Sherman, Thomas

Clemons is 32 years old, with 20 tackles, and 4.5 sacks in 12 games. He really hasn't been himself this year at all, especially of late. Compare that to the prior 3 seasons when he had 11 or more sacks each season, with 40-50 tackles. 2014 cap stats are $7,500,000 base, $9,666,668 cap number...

    Okung Torn Ligament

From what I've read, Based on the fact that he is looking into surgical options, he is probably dealing with larger Grade 3 injuries, such as: A severe tear of the plantar complex Fracture of the sesamoid Vertical instability (unusual up and down motion) of the MTP joint Loose bony chip in the...

Mike Rob's Return (speculation) after Brock and Danny

I think that if Mike Rob for example accepts the veteran minimum on a one year salary, he is back. The only thing I can say about Ware is based on what I've seen from him in the preseason, and I wasn't blown away. I think a Ware type RB can be easily picked up late in next year's draft, and...

Mike Rob's Return (speculation) after Brock and Danny

After listening to Pete's interview with Brock and Danny today, I came away with the very strong impression that there was a spot on the roster for Mike Rob if he wants it, and is willing to take a pay cut. Anyone else feel the same way?

    Mike Rob Cut?!!!

I predicted this in April. If Maragos is cut, I'll be 2 for 3. "Looking at the cap numbers, here are some players I expect us to find replacements for in this years draft. McQuiston -cap figure 2.5 million Mike Rob - cap figure 2.5 million Maragos - cap figure 1.3 million. "

Potential casualties from our upcoming draft.

Looking at the cap numbers, here are some players I expect us to find replacements for in this years draft. McQuiston -cap figure 2.5 million Mike Rob - cap figure 2.5 million Maragos - cap figure 1.3 million. Every penny counts when we are trying to re-sign our core players. Thoughts?

    Cameron Morrah to 9ers

This bolsters my belief that we will draft TE in the 2-4th round this year.

    Keys to the game

After a mini NFL rewind marathon, here are a few thoughts.... For the most part, the legion of boom locks it down on the outside, and protects against the deeper routes (aside from a few mental lapses). Our gaping weakness is that our linebackers are having tremendous issues in space. This...

Doug Baldwin out for a couple weeks

Yes, Baldwin has had quite a bit of injuries in his career.
