    Anytime you can go up by 7 points on 4th down, you should. That means one screw-up like a pick-6 or fumble return doesn’t put you behind. I hated it for that reason.

    It was a bush league play and intentional. It’s bad enough when guys get hurt on routine plays, but to do that to someone after the action is over deserves harsh punishment.

    I think the crowd noise does impact decision-making by the opposing team down the stretch. I would expect it to be more difficult for NE to run their offense in the last two drives. Also, I think it does affect refs, who likely would look to “even” out the penalties after getting three quarters...

    Even Russ can learn lessons. He needs to know that our D sucks and he needs to win games by giving them as little time as possible to give up the lead.
