    He initiated contact at the shoulder. It was absolutely not a block on the back. Whether his hands went down his back after he made contact is irrelevant. It is where contact is initiated. There was no force applied to his back. It was to his side.

    Verlander didn't have any problem with it at all. He had thrown 5 and 1/3 perfect innings and he made the point that it wasn't too late in the game to do that and that bunting is a big part of Dyson's game.

    Thanks. I appreciate it. One last clarification from the picture you posted. If the guy with the ball would have just immediately launched a shot on goal instead of passing to the up top, would the guy in the center listed as offsides have been okay or would it technically be offsides?

    So just to clarify. Those two players that got the goals, as long as they were onsides when they received the pass past the midfield line the play is deemed onsides? If they pass to the player that is offsides that changes things right?

    A punt is essentially the same thing as a turnover. You are giving the ball back to the Rams. So if he fumbles it there on the Rams 35 it is the same as a 40 net yard punt. Your last sentence is exactly what we were trying to do and why we faked a punt and got the first down.
