Patriots are in the AFC Championship Game

As far as most teams are concerned I'd probably agree with you but it's kind of hard to bet against the Patriots considering their record over the past 15 years. I think since RW arrived we've had them beat in terms of pure talent but man I wish we had their ruthlessness.

Breaking News: Tom Cable Reassures Fans on OL Development

At the end of the day the buck stops with PC/JS, if they weren't happy with the progressive deterioration of the OL over the past few years then I'm sure something would have been done about it. They obviously believe that this team can win a Superbowl with an OL that wouldn't look out of place...

If the Seahawks had the 1st pick, who would you take?

It'd be awesome to have any of the three guys mentioned in the OP, personally I'd give the edge to Jonathan Allen.

This guy thinks the Broncos will let Russell Okung walk

I'd be happy to see him back on this team. The line is complete garbage and he would be an instant upgrade.

    Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown isn't what we need. We need an o-line and a run game. In our current incarnation AB would be lucky to get four targets per game.

Just hand the Pats the Lombardi already

The AFC is so boring every year.

    This team, organization is broken

I think the truth is that our drafts have gone downhill since Scot McCloughan left. He was here when the likes of Sherman, Wright, Kam and Russ were drafted in the later rounds, (he also built the team in Santa Clara that went to the NFC Championship game 3 years in a row). Since his departure...

Only 4 Pro Bowl Selections , 8 Alternates

What I dislike most about the Pro Bowl is how much stock is placed in the number of appearances a player has been selected for when considering his eligibility for the HOF.

    #2 seed

That would depend on Dallas, Giants can't be the no.2 seed if Dallas is no.1.

Two more years of mediocrity for the Rams

It's great news as far as keeping the Rams near the bottom of the division goes but it'd be nice if we could figure out how to beat them on a more regular basis.

The Official Jeff Fisher Losingest Coach Ever Countdown

Maybe he only intends to keep coaching until they finish 8-8 so he can go out on a high.

    Glowinski

Exactly. What's the point in investing cap space and high picks in WR's and an All-Pro TE if you can't get them the ball.

Officiating is so bad, I quit!

Or maybe the point is that too many games are decided by bad calls, irrespective of whether those calls are for or against the Hawks.

Who do the Hawks want to win the GB/ATL game?

More importantly, who does the NFL want to win?

    Why not sign Mike Vick?

Even if he truly is a changed man that doesn't mean he deserves a second chance. I personally think the debt he paid to society wasn't nearly enough.

Repercussions of a 60 man roster

I think if the NFL really gave a damn about player safety these ideas would be implemented asap. Being able to active your full roster on gameday would mean teams could rotate players more and thus lessen their risk of injury. What is gained by having inactive lists? Players are surely more...

    Britt to center?

That one word really leapt off the page when I read this. Two years in the system and he "kinda understands it", hardly a glowing endorsement. This just reeks of one last attempt to try and get value for money out of what looks like a wasted 2nd round pick (not that is necessarily a bad thing...

    Interesting draft

Joey Hunt was the one guy that PC/JS said they had to leave the draft with. I'm sure they know what they're doing.

Hahahahaha. Dallas Jonese's it with the 4th pick

The problem is, having a "special" RB doesn't help you very much when you're getting scored on quicker than my sister. Once they're down two TD's they'll be back to relying solely on Tony Romo, who tends to choke in those situations. I personally would've gone defense in the first two rounds...

    Is the draft still necessary?

Whilst I do agree it's wrong that players coming out of college don't get to pick their first employer, I also happen to like the current system and don't want see it changed. The NFL would end up resembling a European soccer league where only 2 or 3 teams have realistic shot at winning the...
