    Point of interest on PPG allowed rankings: if the Seahawks were averaging 2.5 PPG allowed less right now they'd have a top 10 defense, apparently. With the average they had before the last two weeks it would be ranked #8.

    Seems weird to me that OP would leave out the $48 million in dead cap the Rams are suffering under from Jalen Ramsey, Leonard Floyd, and Bobby Wagner.

    If this means the defense stops averaging around 30 PPG earlier in the season instead of halfway like has been common the last few years, that's a good thing. Sackfests are rare and fun to watch when your team is giving them. Going into the bye week with this record and the face punching is fun.

    I doubt this even cracks the top 20. They lost by 17 points. They lost by 35 points to the Rams at home just six years ago; it's not even among the worst Pete Carroll era losses. There were a bunch of games in the pre-Holmgren era much worse than this, and enough to call it one of the worst.
