    The team signed Jason Myers and I'm sure they'll bring in some UDFA tryouts. HIGHLY doubt they burn a draft pick on one. And they shouldn't do that anyway.

    At the same point, they cannot realistically bank on Carson being great and Davis being adequate. We assumed Rawls was going to be the solution and he dropped off a cliff after his season ending injury. I hope Carson avoids a similar fate but his body of work is way too small to put everything...

    Almost like one team has a lot more cap room than the other.. but surely that can't be the reason why. Anyway, if there's one area where the FO excels.. its unearthing cheap talent at CB. Worth a crack at hoping he's another diamond in the rough.

    As others have pointed out, Mike Davis is simply not worth 1.9M on a cap strapped team. He was on our practice squad for most of the season and did not generate any interest. If he does return, it will be at the vet minimum I would imagine.

    Way too early to say until we see what kind of roster purge this is going to be. Right now I am not expecting more than 8-9 wins.. but that can decrease with a much larger scale rebuild or increase with a softer one (i.e. they address RB, keep Earl and Sherm, etc) Going to be one interesting...

    No team is forking over a 3rd for him. Not when they know he's likely getting cut. Hell, arguably the best CB in the game right now fetched a 4th rounder in 2018. We'll be lucky to get a 5th for Bennett. Can't discount two things going against him.. his age and his activism this season...

    Agree in a sense, however with the amount of draft picks we have.. and the holes on this roster .. they will have to add a few vets to round up the roster. Bruce wouldn't be a bad vet to add, but as others have said, he'd have to come cheap. Don't really see that coming with a lot of teams...
