Anyone else concerned the DE read option could get RW hurt?

True enough. His only hit of the Buf game (and I think worst hit of the season) was the sack on the delayed blitz on I think it was the first play.

Anyone else concerned the DE read option could get RW hurt?

I honestly don't know but are you sure there's no rule about him being fair game if he's outside the pocket?

Anyone else concerned the DE read option could get RW hurt?

Ah thanks. I did not realize that "the option" referred specifically to that play. Can anyone confirm whether or not it's fair game to hit the QB if he fakes running with the ball?

Anyone else concerned the DE read option could get RW hurt?

Yeah that's a fair point. Just makes me nervous.

Anyone else concerned the DE read option could get RW hurt?

I think most would agree that this DE read option play has been a significant part of the offensive success lately. I am no expert, but my understanding from years past has always been that *nobody* in the NFL runs "the option" very much because pro defenses are trained to ignore the ball and...

Sherman suspension pushed back to next season

The point of going to that extreme was to illustrate that there has to be a line to cross. But alright then, let me ask: if Browner & Sherman were 49ers, working the system to stagger the suspensions would be all good, no complaints? Also, no admission of wrong-doing necessary?

Sherman suspension pushed back to next season

If a key player committed murder and went to jail would you ask the same question? If no, where do you draw the line? Somewhere between dog fighting and steroids?

Sherman suspension pushed back to next season

If he made a legit mistake fine, I think he should own up to it. Not make up contradictory excuses.

Sherman suspension pushed back to next season

Principled. What would you think if he were a 49er?

Sherman suspension pushed back to next season

First off let me say that I'm as pumped and jacked about a good young Seahawks team as anyone. That being said, maybe I'm way off but how many people here think Sherman has been falsely accused and has a legit appeal vs him and the 'Hawks working the system to stagger the suspensions. Browner...

    NFC West Is Not Over

OK call me a homer but given the undefeated home record and that the final road game is vs. the 5-7 Bills (and at a neutral site!), it's not off-the-rocker crazy to imagine the 'Hawks running the table to 11-5. *If* that were to happen, they would only need SF to lose one one of MIA/@NE/ARI...

The Seahawks will win in Chicago and Buffalo

I predict that the Seahawks will not win in Buffalo.

We're gonna crush that Jets team

I think peachesenregalia is right. Seahawks are a young talented team coming into their own. Expect them to be better in the second half of the season than the first. Jets were contenders for awhile but now can only dream about that kind of positive outlook. Seahawks win by more than 7.

    Surprising Mental Errors

True but I would have been gripping my chair if Adrian Peterson been allowed to touch the ball again. Honestly at that point a kneel down is a smarter play.

    Surprising Mental Errors

Great win Sunday against a team with a winning record. Haven't seen this posted but sorry if I missed it: I was surprised to see two pretty bad mental errors: 1) On the lateral pass that went through Tate, it seemed like none of the 'hawks realized that the ball was live. Lucky that it...
