    Hahaha, Prisco just cant resist.

Dude is an 'analyst' for CBSSports. CBSSports, you know, the 1 stop shop for all NFL news and commentary? Sheesh. he's gotta say something ridiculous just so people don't forget that there is a CBSSports

12 things Hawks and Bolts fans are overlooking

I had a lot of fun writing up some points of reality last week and discussing them before the game. I decided to go ahead and do another set for this week and see how it went. To be honest, this week was a little harder. I think Charger fans are a lot more realistic about this game than Packer...

    Commentators and our coaches

This. I love Quinn, and I think Bevell has been waiting for a high-power offense to shine. But, these guys are both going to be gone next year, i think. The next guys that PC/JS bring into the system are going to bring some of their own special mojo with them

    What the hell is this?

I'm with you. I don't get the outrage. Really, this is just kinda sad, but, if he gets kicks from it, good for him. No one mistakes Cheese-heads for the 12th man. Two different beasts

    A strange, strange feeling.

We traded a 6th round pick to the Colts for him earlier this week. He was an emergency acquisition because Simon is injured right now, I think. He looked lost, but he may get more up to speed with this defense as the year goes on.

    sherman got 0 targets

He had *few* targets last year, but it didn't look like Rodgers even looked his way all night. If he just takes away half of the field every week, we'll own the passing game. I still think teams will challenge him, and I'm looking for him to get 5+ picks this year.

    Derrick Coleman

I would have to re-watch it. It seemed like most of Marshawn's yardage came in single set-back, but I could be wrong. Coleman looked great on that TD, though!

    Defensive Holding?

We kinda just gave them that dump off garbage, but, given the kind of weapon that Rodgers is, I think we won that battle. I was getting so frustrated during the game about all those third down conversions, but their drives took FOREVER. That was the slooooooooowest no-huddle offense I've ever...

Let's be real. 12 things both fanbases are overlooking

Our secondary is really, really good at avoiding those penalties. Bobby Wagner dropped the ball, but that's probably mostly due to asking a Mike backer to cover a guy 30+ yards deep. Wow, Burley looked lost out there. Maxwell didn't look great either. I really miss Browner and Thurmond right...

This is why we can't have nice things

Right? I don't remember feeling frustrated with Earl like that since his rookie year!

    Tony Dungy is an ass

You're so right. The NFL and its media machine is so in love with Peyton, but I'd put money on him not seeing another playoff win in his life.

    Tony Dungy is an ass

So, a team that dominated the NFL and rose above it all in a trial by fire in the postseason shouldn't be expected to repeat? :141847_bnono:

Some pleasant memories from playing Green Bay

Oh, man, I miss BB so much. I loved how he told Jennings to come and get it and then took him right down. Hope to see some more BB highlights from NE this year!

    8 WRs? Why?

You shut your damn mouth! That is far too terrifying to think about.

Let's be real. 12 things both fanbases are overlooking

I was posting more about some of the homerism that was making some fans say some things that just didn't seem very well founded. I don't think people were being delusional, necessarily, but there has been some unchecked optimism on points that might be legitimate concerns. I think Marshawn...

Let's be real. 12 things both fanbases are overlooking

Thanks! This is true, and I think the intelligence of the LOB is their greatest strength. Still, they didn't play 4 consecutive quarters in a game that meant anything yet. I think the emphasis will show up, and there will be some times that it will hurt. I think, though, the Legion is more...

    Listening to KIRO Today

I first read the topic as "Kiero today" and got excited for a few seconds.

Let's be real. 12 things both fanbases are overlooking

Reading fan forums from both teams this week has gotten pretty exhausting by now. I'm intensely excited for the opener tonight, and I can't wait to see the banner unveiled. I think the Seahawks will win, and I think they will do it decisively. The 'Hawks will control this game and set the tempo...

    Eddie Lacy vs. Marshawn Lynch

I love CMike's potential, but I would take Lacy all day long. He plays a lot like Marshawn, and I think he would fit into our offense very nicely
