    2014 draft

No, its pretty clear you are condescending in your posts. Alot of members manage to get their opinions across without sounding like a jerk. No, I think it's quite apparent that most here want to draft a BIG WR based off of measurables and potential... despite knee surgeries and drop issues...

    DREAM DRAFT and OFF-SEASON ROSTERBATION!!!

Heres a nice read http://www.seahawks.com/news/articles/a ... a376b7e89c Relevant nuggets: "A closer look at how the Seahawks converted seven of 12 third-down situations against the Broncos supports that assessment. Wilson completed seven of his eight third-down passes for 83 yards – to four...

    2014 draft

You're missing the point. Point isn't to say that 6'3 is better than 6'4. The point is that teams tend to get enamored with anomalous size and those prospects end up being overdrafted based on potential alone and not actual production. At the same time, receivers that are "just" 6'3 are plenty...

    2014 draft

Huh? The argument is that a large premium is paid for measurables despite the production on the field. Your QBs argument is the exact opposite - That a QB is discounted due to measurables despite the production on the field. So I dont know what youre getting at.

Russell switched Gatorade sides because of left shoulder

Was it that hit by Gerald McCoy? I remember Wilson taking a brutal hit from him. Then McCoy got hurt later in the game and Wilson came over to check on him. McCoy later tweeted this:

If you can only keep 1 long term: Tate or Baldwin?

Different players and I kinda agree with TDOT. Tate is far superior as a runner after the catch but has a tendency to body catch, alot. Baldwin has the best hands on this team... maybe the best in 5 years. But DB isn't very physical and can get taken out of the play when a quicker db is on...

    DREAM DRAFT and OFF-SEASON ROSTERBATION!!!

Both Totally disagree. We threw millions after millions at those receivers I listed. That's a list of notable receivers we've had here the last 5 years.... It took 5 years to acquire/develop a talent like DB. It's not as easy as you make it out to be. All this is a moot point anyway. We...

    Kearse's TD

Kinda routine for our receivers, no? Tate did this on the regular last season.

    Kearly's offseason plan: 2014 edition

Won't disagree that this would be a fantastic bang for buck move for the Seahawks but I think that's a slap in the face for Tate. Go try telling Tate he is comparable to Davone Bess or Jason Avant and see if he doesn't feel disrespected.

    Jared Abbrederis

Abbrederis also has concussion concerns. Ryan Swope anyone? I remember last draft, I was screaming every round for the Seahawks to take Ryan Swope... It baffled me that Swope didnt go in the first couple rounds but it was later made known that the kid had legitimate concussion concerns...

Practice squad players (all but one) re-signed

Have you seen those guys in the same room together? In all seriousness, both measure almost exactly the same and both were former QBs converted to receiver quite recently. Both were extremely raw but IMHO, Bates was the better performer in OTAs and minicamp. While I have no doubts we wanted...

Practice squad players (all but one) re-signed

Pretty sure it was Poor Phil Bates that made Chris Harper expendable. They're essentially the same guy.

Besides ET & Sherm, who is our best Defensive player ?

Thats a good list, I guess Avril CAN be higher than 7th ;) However, in my humble opinion, BWags is just too versatile to be considered a lesser component than one trick ponies like Avril. Bane is an exception because he's legitimately one of the best at what he does in the entire League.

NFL Network - redrafting the QBs in the 2012 draft

I had to turn the program off during that pointless exercise. These guys have the attention span of gnats. How quickly they forget Wilson's awesomeness.
