My new draft-crush: WR Allen Robinson - Penn State

He had 12 rec for 173 yards and a TD... what more could you ask one receiver to do? He can't play defense, can he?

I'm flip flopping on 1st round pick

Agree with this. Rocky Seto must stay forever.

SEC DPOTY: Michael Sam announced he is gay

Oh God, now I'm having fantasies of being drafted by the LFL

    Trade Marshawn? Fantasy post.

I think they're missing several key pieces. QB is the obvious one tho Hoyer has shown flashes. C-Alex Mack is a free agent, they have very poor OG play, pretty sure they need a middle line backer and they also need a RB. I don't think they're really hurting for receivers. They have some depth...

I'm flip flopping on 1st round pick

Yep, I like TE-Troy Niklas, DT-DaQuan Jones, WR-Brandon Coleman and RT-Seantrel Henderson in that range. Could also facilitate removing the contracts of Zach Miller, Red Bryant, Sidney Rice and Breno Giacomini (I realize he is a UFA).

I'm flip flopping on 1st round pick

Lol, were only bitter enemies in your own mind. I'd want the colt's 2nd and 3rd round picks.

My new draft-crush: WR Allen Robinson - Penn State

Yeah, he's so tiny he bowled over his own Center in the first clip of that highlight reel.

Colts could really use players like Max Unger and Doug Baldwin.

I'm flip flopping on 1st round pick

This sums it up nicely. That, and the fact that OG talent is average at best in this draft. I'm ok with our guard depth with Alvin Bailey, James Carpenter, JR Sweezy and Bowie. Theres also the possibility we bring back Lem who can swing to Guard as well. Here's an idea out of left field...

    DREAM DRAFT and OFF-SEASON ROSTERBATION!!!

I think end of 2nd sounds about right. That's where Vance McDonald went last draft and I think they are similar prospects with Niklas possessing better pass catching chops and Vance being a slightly better athlete.

    DREAM DRAFT and OFF-SEASON ROSTERBATION!!!

CJF looks like an excellent blocker but there's nothing exciting about his pass catching ability. I think if were hoping for a well rounded player, Niklas is our guy. That's not to say that CJF wouldn't be a great value as a day 3 pick.

Thoughts & Expectations from the following players...

I think Jesse Williams will be groomed to compete with Scruggs to take over Red's spot at RDE. Jesse can also play 3T in base packages, taking over Tony McDaniel's vacated spot. Jordan Hill will take over Clint McDonalds spot at NT on passing downs.

    DREAM DRAFT and OFF-SEASON ROSTERBATION!!!

Really good discussion about our WRs here. Wanted to refocus the discussion onto the prospects mentioned in this thread. How do you guys feel about Niklas? Not enough of a "wow" player? As Kearly would put it. I came away very impressed after watching the tape that was posted here. He...

Does maxwell have slot experience? (hypothetical)

Agree with this. I think Lane, Auguste and maybe Shead will compete for slot duties.

Football Gameplan's 2014 NFL Draft Prospect Rankings - TE

ASJ reminds me of Martellus Bennett and Troy Niklas reminds me of a bigger Witten.

    2014 draft

This is what you said: Your words, not mine. Might be sig worthy right there.

    Really? Funny draft team need

Our receivers are great in mismatches, none can beat double coverage. Having a guy that can consistently beat double coverage would tilt the field and make our offense pretty much unstoppable. That said, there's no guarantees at #32. For that reason alone, we are either going to have to shore...
