Bears release 30-year-old OG Matt Slauson

Yeah, but I'd imagine signing Kearse has to hurt our chances at least a little bit.

Bears release 30-year-old OG Matt Slauson

Get him next to Ifedi to teach him the ropes. Suddenly we have a solid O-line.

1st. Rd. Pick #31, Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M

One more thing. Cable transformed an undrafted tight end in Gilliam into a solid RT. I can't imagine he can't do it again with Ifedi. I'm just excited for day 2.

1st. Rd. Pick #31, Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M

What else were we supposed to do at 26 when we have a huge hole at RT. Fill it with sand? I have no doubt we would have taken him at 26 anyway, but we got a 3rd rounder in addition. Also, I feel like Carpenter was much slower than this guy from a pass-block standpoint, but I'm not sure. I...

    Chris Clemons Signs With Seahawks

Remember what Lawyer Milloy did for Kam Chancellor? We got Clark, Marsh and probably some rookie on the docket about to play some serious pass-rush snaps. Maybe he can teach them some technique, etc.

Seahawks bringing in OL Bradley Sowell for visit

Bradley Sowell is getting the first crack at replacing suspended Cardinals RT Bobby Massie. Sowell started 12 games at left tackle for Arizona in 2013 but was an absolute train wreck, grading out as Pro Football Focus' worst tackle. --Mon, Aug 17, 2015...

    My concern with Lynch's return

I'm just concerned we are going to project what we are doing with him to the other team. Lynch's return + Bevell predictability means the following equation: Lynch in the backfield = 95% chance of a run With Rawls we were unpredictable as hell, I'm not sure that will happen with Beast.

As much as I love Kam..........

The only scenario I imagine us losing is by Olsen. Not that I give PFF too much weight, but they gave Kam a -3.7 grade. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2016/01/11/pro-sea-min-grades-bennett-thomas-fuel-seahawks-win/ I wonder if Kam is aware of this difficulty?

Injury Reports -- Seahawks at Packers (UPDATE: Bulaga OUT!)

So who's going to replace Simon if Sherm's in the slot? Shead?

Britt practicing at left guard, Gilliam at RT

I know it's early, but my concern is that the run-game will suffer because of this slim-bellied ninny. Though now that I think about it, Britt didn't have a flab and was a strong run-blocker. I take back my remark. Please delete this. :2:

Kam holding out for more money

I'm not sure if this was said before but it seems to me like its pretty reasonable for Kam to want that money -- because if he were to collect it, it would in theory not be a strain on the other contracts/cap space. If he thinks the organization isn't signing Wilson/Wagner this year then they...
