Re: KJ Wright Signs 4 year extension UPDATED WITH BREAKDOWN

This is unexpected but I like it. Wright gives them versatility. I do wonder what this might mean for Avril and whether they are considering moving Irvin back to LEO.

Irvin in the last 2 games...

Irvin did come out for a couple 3rd downs against the 49ers . . . he played 56/58 snaps. Wagner, Wright, Chancellor, Sherman, Maxwell, and Thomas played all 58 snaps. Bennett played 52/58 snaps.

You sir have been infected by Marvin's inability to admit when he's wrong.

I am thinking he deduced this from your very poor usage of the term "concern troll." From urban dictionary, "a concern troll is someone who is on one side of the discussion, but pretends to be a supporter of the other side with supposed concerns. Concern trolls who use fake identities are...

No, listen to Marvin . . . he's a victim of circumstances! A victim of circumstances!

    Jordan Hill

The most amazing thing is that he had all that production while playing just 19 snaps, primarily out of the nickel defense. Once he rounds into a complete player against the run, he's going to start taking more snaps at the three technique in our base defense.

    Some love for Bailey/Carp's run-blocking

Too bad Sweezy whiffs on his block on this play. It's Britt who gives Nick Moody that extra hit to knock him into the turf . . . Sweezy's general nastiness is contagious.

Poll: Who is the Hawks' biggest roadblock to Super Bowl 49?

I'm tempted to say the Cardinals just because they are our next opponent, we're playing them on the road, and a loss to them would be devastating to our Super Bowl aspirations. They have a front seven that is equally good at rushing the pass and shutting down the running game.

    Some love for Bailey/Carp's run-blocking

I was just going to say that too. That was the most difficult block on that play (sans Sweezy's, which he missed). I doubt Coleman is strong enough to have made that block.

    MNF: Saints @ Bears

Saints looks like they're going to win this game big, If they win out, they win the division. If they beat Atlanta next week and Carolina loses to Cleveland, then they also clinch it.

Grateful tonight for a petulant child

He got real lucky that Jim was coaching down the road at Stanford. And now he's running him off because he hasn't already produced the Super Bowl that was commanded. Then what will the 49ers be left with? An aging roster and a petulant man-boy owner.

Grateful tonight for a petulant child

All I can say is enjoy the fact that your team's fate is in this man's hands - the same ignoramus who wanted to hire Mike Singletary and who personally "guaranteed" you would make the playoffs in 2010.
