The "what I expect to happen" mock draft, final version

I am in love with Michael's highlight vids but i just don't see it. Not in the 2nd. Maybe the 3rd if he lasted that long. I like Escobar, but don't love him. He looks so light in the pants without the explosiveness one would expect. He is not Aaron Hernandez 2.0. I do like his hands though. I...

    Player you are rooting for....

Russel Wilson. I get it that to most of us it is a foregone conclusion that he will be a pro bowler and league mvp while leading us to the superb owl. I just want him to continue to progress and lead this team to realizing it's potential.

    2013 NFC West Predictions

Loafoftatupu, If it's ok with you i would like to make this sentence, "I can "see" the Niners opening up at the Clink and being choked out so bad that the Hawks send the Niners into a downward spiral of futility that will make the 2010 losing streak look like a title run." My new sig. That...

    2013 NFC West Predictions

I think the Rams will surpass the Niners this year. The Seahawks will expand on dominating the last 8 games last year. I honestly can't predict a single loss though if i had to bet on 1 it would be at St. Louis. I don't feel like the 9ers offense scares anyone and the Rams pass rush is the...

How close have you been to the NFL? (offseason time waster)

I went to Junior High and High School with Brock Huard and Dane Looker. I was always JV while they were a year ahead of me. What was so cool about Brock was he was always a great role model. He was never into clicks and always took time to say hi to youngsters like myself.

Guess it's now official that Leroy Hill won't be back

I have been rewatching the games and I was surprised how many times I caught myself sayying, "great play leroy." He was extremely good at shedding blocks and next to wright was our best run defending linebacker in my opinion. He will be missed more than most think. I also like him because of his...

    Let's Talk Mariners

We have some serious power this year. It's nice to see our better hitters from last year moved to the back or middle of the order to make room for Moris, Morales, and others. Moris is killing it tonight!

    Seahawks are gonna run spinner

I just got a huge woody. This is going to be so much fun to watch. I know this sounds so homerish, but pete is a freaking genious. I can see irvin lining up behind those guys and stunting all over the place. I am giddy.

Feel that 'ol bandwagon tide coming in? lol

I joined under the Mora administration. If only we had gotten a few more dirtbags I could be considered a .netbandwagoner. nevermind, I bought into the curry hype that year so in a sense I am worse than a bandwagoner. As much as I like malcolm smith, I hope we draft a WLB and he chooses number 59...

    All-time favorite .net quote

The funniest post for me this year was by Montana. I can't remember what the original post topic was, but about midway through the thread someone says, "Well it's not like anyone thought we were going to the Super Bowl this year" and Kearly pipes in on the next post, "I did." To which Montana...

49ers at Seahawks (12-23-12) full game on Youtube

I was up till 230 am watching this game last night with a permagrin on my face. This morning, not so much. My wife caught me grinning on our way home from my daughters gymnastics and asked what i was smiling about. I sounded like Beavis as i replied, "We are going to OWN the Niners next year."...

    Conventional Wisdom

I know, my bad. I will learn from my mistake and attempt to progress in my posting by admitting my shortcomings and valuing the opinions of others while developing my own ideas.

    Conventional Wisdom

I didn't want to focus on the Mormon Church for fear of offending those of Mormon faith, though i have noticed from many personal stories that the this church in particular falls victim of group think more than most. It is isolated predominantly in Utah. People surround themselves with those...

    Conventional Wisdom

I just read the article on field gulls "Runaway train" and found this little bit on conventional wisdom to be super interesting. I recently had a conversation about "groupthink" with some Mormon missionaries that came to my door. There is a direct correlation between the success of our football...

    Scruggs and Howard

Well said. I suspect you are not alone in this line of thinking. Fortunately, our Front office has a more objective perspective allowing us homers to just be happy to be Seahawk fans!
