    Browns Vikings

It might help if they covered Thielen in the end zone. Two DBs caught looking in the backfield lol. I thought the Browns would be better than they have been this season but maybe they will get something going in the second half. Kizer has been brutal, they have to be regretting their decision...

Liz Mathews: Avril could be out rest of season

It sounds like it could be spinal stenosis which has ended careers before. Once the spine starts to narrow then a relatively minor blow to the same spot could cause paralysis. It can be totally reversible given time but I think it's a slow process.

We have a running back problem

I know what you mean about Rawls he seemed too amped up at the beginning of the game and super frantic. However, I believe he can settle down and be productive with more carries. He did look much better at the end of the game grinding out the clock. He was actually making guys miss and broke...

    25 years ago this week

The Pack have a lot of injuries and the Bengals have had 10 days to prepare. I expect the game to be closer than expected.

Kasen Williams picked up by Browns

It's a good landing spot for Kasen Williams. He should be able to prove himself and become the #3 which I don't think would have happened in Seattle barring injury.

Here we go again. Rawls Questionable for game 1...

No, they would have done that last week and kept Alex Collins. Rawls reminds me a bit of Ahmad Bradshaw who was an incredibly tough runner but could not handle more than a complimentary role. With the amount of talent in the backfield there's no reason why Rawls needs to be starting or getting...

    Chris Carson

There's a lot to like. Carson made a great adjustment to catch that deep 37 yard pass on an improvised play. He also broke out of numerous tackles from starting front seven defenders including one where he was absolutely crushed in the backfield but somehow spun out and turned it into a short...

Is keap really better than Boykin?

Sanchez signed for $2M so I have to believe that Kaepernick would command more than that.

    Malik McDowell in "vehicular" accident

Hsu seems to be the only source of information. Today Hsu is tweeting face ripped back to the ear and 90% done for the season. The way the things have been kept so secretive I've gotta believe that it's a very serious injury.

rules for "excessive offseason contact "

The league has also placed limits on the number of full-contact padded practices during the regular season. Teams are permitted a total of 14 for the year with 11 of those practices conducted during the first 11 weeks of the season (a maximum of one per week)...

Seahawks run game goes from 'Beastmode' to 'Hulkmode'

I appreciate the Hulk thing but sorry hulk mode is too derivative for me to get behind. I also feel like it takes away from Marshawn's legacy. He should remove the mode and change it to Hulk Smash or something like that.

Is Alex Collins a lock to make the team? To stay on team?

Alex Collins is definitely not a lock and I would guess the odds are stacked against him. He didn't play special team at all last year and I'd bet the 4th RB must contribute on special teams. If that's the case then he needs to beat one of the top three guys. I think the most likely scenario...

Pick #35 Malik McDowell, DT, Michigan State

High ankle sprain is a ligament injury to ligaments that connect the tibia and fibula (lower leg bones) at the top of the ankle. Broken implies fracture and a broken leg would be a fracture to the tibia, fibula, or femur. A high ankle sprain can have similar symptoms and recovery time as a...

    Jarran Reed investigated for assault

This happened about 14 hours before the draft began. It could explain why the Hawks drafted two DTs in the first three rounds. Hopefully the complaint is baseless but I suspect there may be some validity to it.
