    Pete Carroll On Seattle...

Our best coach ever! Funny how as Husky fans we didn’t like him. I’ll always be a fan of Pete! That division is stacked with coaches! Never quite hated the Raiders like the Donks. We got Flores and they got Pete. They got a better deal.

    Defense wins championships

How many of us thought the Eagles could win the last time? I did until the refs stopped the game. I don’t think there’s any doubts the Eagles were coming down and d scoring after KC did what ever they did. The big question was what KC would do after that and how much time was left. Buy the...

Time to move on from Jason Myers.

I know we made three game losing plays against the Rams. One big one and one gigantic one from Geno. His miss seems less fatal than those two. If his miss in this years first rams game didn’t matter. What about his miss at the end of last years rams game? What about the miss against the...

Fix the lines that is the path forward

We need some one in the middle who is solid. Then the guard can be surrounded by competent players. It’s been said a million times but damn. We had a chance a stud center and went for a shiny object instead. Missing in those picks is like dropping passes and punting instead of scoring...

Per SI: Steelers Done with Russell Wilson

How can this be a surprise to a real football person. I’m not a real football nuts and bolts guy but I’ve known this since that Tams playoff game.

An interesting read on the chiefs and penalties.

I agree that KC gets the benefit of doubt every time in refs mind, but had Kincaid caught that beautiful pass.... PS. shoulda run that half back instead of that dumb ass push.

The role for DK in 2025

No we’re not. Trade for LaPorta? In a second. Take a 2nd? You bet. We might get a 3rd and 4th. Or a player of some merit. We traded an excellent center for a freak but soft TE. It could happen. A good run game and pass protection could achieve the same benefits as a deep threat with a...

    Bob Uecker RIP

He tells how his dad got the family a football. They all tried to throw it. Not much luck. They even tried to kick it with even less success. They kept at cuz they weren’t quitters. Finally after a few weeks their neighbor came over and pumped it up for them.

    ESPN predict trading DK

What are the Chargers going to give us? Besides us not having to pay $30+ million a year for a good receiver?

Good writeup MM/State of the team/Offseason hints.

Wouldn't that be nice? We all wanted that for years, but you get what you get. I'm not sure there is even such a thing with DK. For him to really have a 50/50 chance at a pass it's probably more like an 80/20 chance. Dude is not elite at catching.

    MacDonald riding with Geno

Early on Russ had a good O line. At least it was one of the top $ spent. I think it really fell apart when we lost Unger. I remember when we lost Lynch and Russ was like 24 td - 3 int in the second half of 2015.

    MacDonald riding with Geno

The comparison with Hass was surprising to me. But even in those years he had a great season in 2003. We were really good that season and weird shit happened late in two losses to make 12-4 go to 10-6 that year. And a disappointing season in 2004. His highs weren't really that much more than...

Seattle to get 3 compensatory picks (projection)

I get the Ram envy. And I hate the Rams. They are the smarter people in the room though. All the moves they make seem to work out. Throwing all those picks and Goff at Detroit and getting a legitimate SB. They got the top receiver, just draft another one. Aaron Donald gone, just draft...

How did we all miss this was 10 years ago today?

Yep, the priority was to not score so fast. Kind of like the Atlanta game a fe years earlier. And that priority was met. The real bummer was not stuffing Brady on the ensuing sneak for a safety.

Five possible destinations for Geno Smith

I'm confused here. If we run him back he is a $44 million cap hit right? So him being under contract is him at $44 million cap hit. So not really affordable.
