Pete rips refs, EVERYONE agreeing Seahawks got screwed

Reffing is very difficult, but it's the inconsistency that's the most problematic. The Seahawks have unfortunately been on the losing end of a bunch of key ticky-tack fouls this year, while on the other hand you have the Packers last night securing an important win in large part because of a...

    Holding

Seattle is getting their ass kicked, so it probably wouldn't make a big difference, but San Fran's offensive line is getting away with a lot of holding. Every time they show a replay of McCaffrey cutting through the line I see another one. There were two on that drive that didn't get called.

Go DK! - Metcalf Gifts Jersey

What I want to know is where is this kid who is 15 and "built just like" DK? Lol Someone start scouting him!

How the hell did the Colts and Stealers beat BAL?

And now up 17-3 on the Browns after one quarter. Yep, the Ravens are a very good team.

    BS ticky tack

Seattle got a 1st down. Refs better throw another late flag.

    Nwosu Likely Out For Season

This really sucks. I wonder how it's going to affect Mafe going forward. He's been lights out all season, but teams will probably be able to scheme against him a little easier now. I think we're pretty aware of what Taylor's strengths and weaknesses are. For me, the guy who is going to need to...

    Witherspoon

Is this still the Witherspoon thread?

    Witherspoon

Can't say enough good things about him. Dude is a Playmaker with a capital "P". Just what the defence needed. But Aikman was right on the broadcast, Carroll has a tough decision to make about where to play him. Having two shut-down corners in him and Riq would be amazing and make life really...

O-LINE depth - good job PCJS!

They've held up way better than I expected. Part of that is scheming, but it's still been quite good. Even Curhan, who had a rough game, provided the primary push on Walker's rushing TD. Just think, they were down to only one starter on the O-Line, and he was playing out of position (Brown...

    Witherspoon

Also, in regards to his play, and obviously Carter has had a great start so far, but it definitely helps that he gets to line up beside Fletcher Cox.

    No hold on Spoon?

Yeah, I saw that too. On the second running play there. Seemed like a clear hold on the outside.

    Spoon

Another nice play on 4th down. The instincts and talent are obvious. Will just need some more play reps.

Offense responded but defense looks like the same crap

Will the Seahawks get a sack this year?

    Sanchez

    Haha good point.
  15. C

    Sanchez

Anyone else getting annoyed that Sanchez keeps cheering every good play by the Rams? I mean, it's a national broadcast. At least try to pretend that you're not actively cheering for one team over the other.

That was a bad way to start...

Teams going 80% on 3rd down conversions is more than a little annoying.

    Brown

I thought that was actually Burns' fault. I don't think he should have tried to pass him off to Brown because Brown's momentum was already going the other way, there's no way he's going to catch up to him on that. Burns should have just stuck with him.

Who is the guy holding coach back LMAO!!!!

Love that there's a designated guy to make sure the 71-year-old coach doesn't get too excited and run out onto the field.

Surprise Cuts? And all other roster cuts!

Hopefully Bell, Winston, Lindsey, and Gotel make it to the practice squad. I thought all of those guys showed some interesting things at one time or another throughout pre-season.

Why Hawks think ‘something special’ is happening again

That graphic really puts it in perspective. Who is the second best QB in the NFC? Cousins? Stafford? Dak maybe? None of those guys are really scary, and Geno fits in pretty well with that second tier of NFC QBs after Hurts.
