How are any 12s out there going to sleep tonight ?

"Babies don't sleep this well." -Edward Norton, Fight Club I'm all rested up and ready for both the game and the postgame celebration.

Seahawk player of the game predictions

I think Lynch is the guy offensively this week, Packers are a fair bit weaker against the run than the pass and I think Marshawn exploits it to significant effect. Will echo Kam as a defensive choice. These games against premiere passing teams are when he's at his most effective.

    Sunday weather

Not terribly fond of the weather forecasts. Theoretically, pushing both teams' passing games down should actually benefit us, but weather elements add more variance to the mix, and the superior team should want as little variance as possible affecting the game.

Seahawks aren't in the SB yet. One game at a time.

Huh? Saying it doesn't matter what fans say on message boards doesn't mean that a win is a sure thing. It means that if we do lose, it has literally zero to do with posts on a message board.

Elo Ratings and Conference Championship Odds

The ELO win probability lines up really closely with the betting line. The current spread would give us a 76% chance of winning.

Where to watch the game in Bellingham

I always thought Meridian Grill was awesome when I lived there. I see it's since been rebranded as Extremes Grill, but just from a look at the website it looks substantially the same. It's on Meridian Street. I'd give that a look.

    Superstitions...

I was fulfilling my superstition by making a smug and condescending remark. What, you think you're the only one allowed to exercise your superstition routine? whitty

    Superstitions...

My superstition is that every time someone admits to being superstitious, I make a smug and condescending remark to them. It doesn't work, so...

    Do you....dare I say it?...miss SF?

Not only do I still/already hate the Rams and Cardinals, but on an even deeper level I hate those that don't hate them.

    Do you....dare I say it?...miss SF?

Agreed. I'm glad these things aren't present. Last year was incredibly stressful. Not only was a trip to the SB on the line for us, not only was our season on the line, but we were being given the task of defending the sanctity of the Lombardi Trophy itself by being the strongest remaining line...

Seahawks would be favored by 2.5 against Pats in SB XLIX

Vegas is ridiculously accurate in general every season. Held true this year, yes.

NFCCG Matchups You Like and Dislike

I really wanted that Stepania anecdote to have more of an ending.

Who raises the flag in the NFC Championship????

If Paul Allen wants to keep choosing to do it then he's certainly earned it. If he'd rather step aside and have someone else do it then I'd be all for Holmgren or Mike Rob.

    Hawks vs Pats

I support this thread simply for the fact that it's likely to rile jinx believers.

    Superbowl pick: Colts vs. Seahawks

The Colts giving us trouble would be one thing. That's possible. "A field day" against our defense? That's, umm, not a thing that actually happens. Anyway, I think the Pats win next Sunday and make this moot anyway.

I am sick of Luke Willson

Did you ever think that perhaps that it is not the thread that was knee-jerk, but rather the celebratory bump that was knee-jerk?

I am sick of Luke Willson

Tip of the cap to Willson. I haven't been a big fan of his, but man he came up huge last night.
