Let's see your final mock drafts

Seahawks trade down their 1st round pick #26 to Raiders for 2nd round pick #44 and 3rd round pick #75. Just as a reference point, according to the old draft trade value chart, it comes out to Raiders receive 700 points, Hawks receive 675 points. 2nd...Pick #44- T Jason Spriggs 2nd...Pick #56-...

What position would you take with our 1st round pick?

I gotta say O-Line. However, I don't think our need there is as great as most 12's think. Look at 2014...one of our linemen was James Carpenter. He pretty much sucked in 2014. In 2015, he leaves the Hawks and suddenly he's one of the best Guards in the NFL. WHY? Because blocking for Russell...

Who will be the Seahawks first pick?

Spriggs or Butler will be first after trading down. Then Kaufusi in the 2nd round and McGovern and Ervin in the 3rd. Hopefully we have an extra 3rd round pick from the trade down.

Bronson Kaufusi could be Seattle's first pick

To be fair, Bennett works off of anticipating the count, which costs the Hawks quite a few penalties at inopportune times. Quickness off the ball might be something the coaches can work with Kaufusi on. I think Kaufusi has the athletic ability to improve on this. Kaufusi was 1" better on broad...

Bronson Kaufusi could be Seattle's first pick

I see your points and they are valid. But nobody knows what will happen in TC. Clemons may not make the roster. I don't see anything wrong with a kid being the #4 DE in his rookie year. Bennett and Avril may start getting less snaps again. Kaufusi could be the guy that replaces one of them next...

Bronson Kaufusi could be Seattle's first pick

I'd be ecstatic if the Hawks pick Kaufusi this week. I just can't see using a 1st round pick on him. He's got to be the pick at #56. I'm all about the value.

    My Updated Seahawks Mock Draft

I'd love for them to get Coleman, but I just don't feel 100% confident about his health/injury issues. Ifedi is great, and I'd be just as happy with an Ifedi pick as a Spriggs pick, but my gut tells me that Spriggs will make a faster transition to the NFL than would Ifedi...for me it's just...

    My Updated Seahawks Mock Draft

I've been following the rise or fall of a lot of prospects on a daily basis, and as of last night, there's a decent chance that JS could get these guys where I have them. Things can of course change by draft day, but I wouldn't be surprised if most of these guys were available where I have them...

Cleveland, a trade partner 4 the Seahawks?

Yeah, I hadn't thought about JS' 200 prospect board and thought of it in terms of UDFA's, but I'll bet you're right. That's really exciting. I had the following list of potential UDFA's listed with my Mock Draft from a month ago...unfortunately, some of them have probably moved up since then...

    My lastest online draft results

I kind of hope the Cardinals take Kelly with their 1st pick. I just don't see him making an easy transition to the NFL. If he does, it might take a couple of years. Bruce Arians and Steve Keim recently said that they don't have to take Kelly. Arians said that there are probably only 3 college...

Cleveland, a trade partner 4 the Seahawks?

They can't trade Pick #171...it's a Compensatory Pick...can't trade those until 2017. I think you should just keep it simple. If you look at JS trades in past drafts, he's always left on the short end of the stick when it comes to the old Draft Value Chart. Pick #26 is worth 700 points. Pick...

What prevents us from winning Superbowl this year?

I always thought that making the playoffs was what turned Luck into an interception machine.

    Backup QB

I'm really hoping that T-Jack signs elsewhere. By signing FA OL Sowell, the Hawks lost their 2017 compensatory pick they would have received for losing Russell Okung. That could end up being a 4th or 5th round pick. If T-Jack signs with another team, his compensatory pick would get cancelled out...

I wish JS would trade for Center Nick Easton

According to "Seahawks Draft Blog" Rob's new TEF score, it's highly unlikely that JS would pick any of the Centers in the 2016 draft. NONE of them are above the score of 3.0 that appears to be a quasi-requirement for Seahawk O-Line draftees. In fact, the only Center in the last few years that...

I wish JS would trade for Center Nick Easton

Berger is their #2 Center right now. Probably wouldn't be able to get him. Easton on the other hand is the #3 guy, so I imagine he'd be available...no team needs 3 Centers.

    Trading Down Again

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying here. If I'm hearing you correctly, you're talking about a 6 spot move back, which would be Pick#32 overall, which would be the first pick of the 2nd round. So you're saying that the Hawks could trade pick #26 for pick #32 AND a 3rd round pick? My...

    Realistic Draft Wishlist

I like it a lot...I just get the feeling Rankins won't be there at #26, but I'd be thrilled if he was. I really think he'd be a difference maker on our D-Line. It would improve the entire D. SB51 here we come. I don't think the part of the draft from 40-75 has much value to offer, so a trade...

PFF: Why it’s not too late to fix Seahawks’ offensive line

You're ignoring some key factors: the Seahawks FO decided years ago to spend a higher percentage of cap space on their defense than any other team. This has resulted in the Hawks spending less on their O-Line than any other team...so that equates to Cable being the weakest link? If you really...
