    The Hawkstorian's All-Time Numeric Roster

The 90's were a hard time - watching great players leave - Mawae, Robinson, Daniels, Adams....

Thank you all for you kind words, notes, gifts.

    Best offseason post so far.

    The Hawkstorian's All-Time Numeric Roster

You would be hard pressed to find a player that did more work than Gray. Good lineman than can take any of the three interior spots.

Ian Rapoport: Seahawks showing interest in Sidney Rice

Rice at the right price makes me happy.

Golden Tate signs with the Lions

He did great while here, and if he has a nice contract and thinks it is a good fit then good for him. Now, what is really going on in my mind is that this means more on-field time for Doug Baldwin....and that ain't nothin' but good...

    The Hawkstorian's All-Time Numeric Roster

Sinclair was part of my two favorite defensive line lineups - 1996: Sinclair, Adams, Kennedy, McCrary (and Joe Nash was still on the roster) 1998: Sinclair, Adams, Kennedy, Daniels my all time favorite Defensive line (and maybe defense) is 1991: Green, Kennedy, Bryant, Nash/Woods

    The Hawkstorian's All-Time Numeric Roster

I thought the trade was based on salary - we couldn't afford to keep him at the numbers he probably should have been paid, so we traded him to get something in return. I shall adjust my recollections....we didn't lose him "to FA", but imho because of FA/Salary cap....(drove his price up) 18...

    The Hawkstorian's All-Time Numeric Roster

1996 D line: Sinclair, Adams, Kennedy, McCrary And we had this rookie named Phillip Daniels..... That was a hideous pile of talent on the D line. Too bad we had lost Eugene Robinson that off season to Free Agency...

    The Hawkstorian's All-Time Numeric Roster

Micheal Sinclair had a great career while battling diabetes as well, and is commonly used as an example of what can be achieved in spite of the disease. Before this current crew, I'd easily place him in my top 10 Seahawks. Now, it may be hard to find room.

Millard did everything required to hold a number's mvp spot, but unfortunately he wore the same number as the best LT ever to play the game

    3/4/2014 -- 950 KJR 8am **How we lost Hutch**

Losing Hutch was a massive hit, instead of building on what we had (including the best left side in football), we had to react to losing a major piece. I was so pissed when I heard about Hutch.

    Elder Scrolls Online

Love the Elder Scrolls series, Hate MMORPG because it is a bunch of punks playing murder hobo thieves (break in somebody's house, kill them, take their crap, repeat...). I prefer the story based quests in the stand alone games (I like fallout of the same reason) Sorry - I'm not in on an online...

    The Hawkstorian's All-Time Numeric Roster

Jacob Green has been and always will be one of my favorite Hawks. I don't think he has been recognized sufficiently for his greatness. When Jacob retired he was third place on the NFL sack list - with only Reggie White and Lawrence Taylor ahead of him - and they didn't even officially record...

    BB to sue the NFL

IMHO, the NFL is hosed. They did not enforce their own rule (he 'should' have been on indefinite suspension when he returned to the league/signed with Seahawks) They did not clear him off of the program after he had 12 months clean. This indicates they do not enforce the rules, and an...

    Hawks in the NFL Crosshairs

We get to be reigning Super Bowl champions until the first snap of the first game. Then, everybody is 0-0, and we have to earn it all over again.

    The Hawkstorian's All-Time Numeric Roster

Joe Jurevicious for me at #87. Without Joe, we do not go to the Superbowl for the first time in 2005.

    The 38 Club

I guess i have to claim 35. Moved to the Seattle area when I was 8 (1979), and I immediately loved the native inspired logo and colors, so for the first time i really choose my own team rather that following what all the adults did. It was then that I started understanding how the game really...
