    Tharold Simon has....

God, just get Burley out of there. Every time I turn around our defense has held to 3rd and 10, then he gives up a first down because he's giving the WR a half a field cushion.

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread (Raiders @ Seahawks)

I want this to be a crushing on both sides of the ball. At least 34-3. But more importantly I want: -At least 2 picks and 5 sacks on defense -NO sacks allowed by our line and minimal penetration allowed into the backfield -100 yards at least for Lynch on the ground in 20 carries or less -At...

Walter Jones to be inducted into the Ring of Honor on Sunday

Wow...I'm surprised this hasn't already happened. Oh what I wouldn't give to have Walt on the line right now...

lil' birdie twittered in my ear...

If we're gonna get aging guys, let's just go all in. Go for Megatron. See if we can get a deal with that bum ankle of his. I think he'd look great in a Hawks jersey.

lil' birdie twittered in my ear...

I'm not interested. He's not a monster, but Norwood has good hands and size. And what are we replacing in Rice? 8 games a year? I want a damn offensive line. Look how good we are with this patchwork of backups and hopefuls, imagine if we drafted and or traded for guys with experience and talent...

    Go get Kiero Small

Assuming Mike Rob hasn't kept in playing shape, I'm all for bringing him back on the practice squad or something to mentor Turbin. I feel like losing Harvin and now Coleman has shaken Lynch. Anyone see ADB talking to Lynch on the sideline? It's like he was giving him the "cheer up and get in it"...

    Lockette

I think Walters is still pretty damn fast and has a bit more lateral ability for running. Lockette is a straight line runner. Also I don't think we saw him on offense a lot because we had both Richardson and Norwood active

    Go get Kiero Small

I don't know. Turbin missed a few blocks there. Not a lot, and this is a TOUGH defense to learn a new position against, but I saw at least 3 instances where a guy ran right by him while he looked for his block and blew up the play

    Let's look at this rationally...kinda

We can all agree some of the calls were bad. Not just the fumble, but throughout the game. When you get a 10 vs 2 call disparity, especially against a Jeff Fisher team which last game against has had something like 6 personal fouls alone for the BS they tried to pull, then there's reason to cry...

    Current NFL Officiating

I think the point the original post is making is that the game flow is feeling almost dictated by the refs. Therefore, the outcome feels...fixed? Not saying it was rigged at all, I'm not one of those conspiracy theorists, but, well, take last game: We did ourselves no favors. The offensive line...

    Cheated by the NFL

The botched fumble call was just the icing. Horribly called game. So many missed holds, blocks in the back, late hits on Wilson. I'm not saying we played well. We didn't. But we were digging ourselves out of that hole. But you can't beat bad officiating.

BREAKING NEWS: Percy Harvin Traded to Jets

Thus the -ish part, obviously he was injured. And you can trade an injured player if their contract doesn't forbid it.

BREAKING NEWS: Percy Harvin Traded to Jets

I've settled down and had a beer to rethink this: -Percy's biggest value was in his threat. People had to guard against what he COULD do. He's lined up wide but might go in motion to a jet sweep or run a crossing route. His dynamacy was the most dangerous thing BUT -Percy, as a player, for what...

BREAKING NEWS: Percy Harvin Traded to Jets

What are the odds that part of this was to make cap space for Wilson?

BREAKING NEWS: Percy Harvin Traded to Jets

Lord have mercy...bye bye Percy? I don't get it! He's healthy? I thought...I was under the impression his lack of performance was due to Bevell's coaching. Also, does anyone else remember how long it took us to find a punt returner? What about kickoffs now!? Conditional better mean early or mid...

Update: Marsh to IR. TE Allen and S Terrell to active roster

Whoa whoa, why not Scruggs? The dude has worked his ass off to get back, he needs play time to get better. And with our defensive rotations, we can't just drop a guy and make the others pick up the slack. Not saying I don't really want to see C, P or K out there, but we need balance.

    Dropping like a rock.....

You're stacked at WR. Package Spiller and Williams for a better RB. Oliver is shaping up to be a stud, but if Mathews and Brown back, there could be some weird timeshare happening, so you could gamble while he's high and get someone better. But basically you need a better RB. Heck, AJ for a RB...

    Blockbuster trade proposal

If you're at 4-1, I see no reason to make this trade. That's a strong team, and all the motivations to make the trade are predicated on Murray eventually falling from grace. But guess what? What if he doesn't? That Dallas o-line is a beauty. And what if Jimmy gets injured again? He's a TE, he...

Welp, all my WR are sucking

How the hell did you land all those guys!? Some suckers in the league? I got Brown with a late-ish pick, by far the best pick of the draft for me. I agree though, WRs don't see to be that hard to spot. It's a skill position, and one that gets better with experience as the QB and WR develop more...

    Tight end fill in

I took a flyer on Jace Amaro. The Pats are pretty sloppy against TEs, and in the pecking order Jace is pretty high. That said, any time you need a backup TE, you can't really have high expectations
