Green Bay Packers vs Hawks at Lambeau

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Lacy is peaking at the right time for them, and suddenly that offense is much more diverse than "Rodgers throws the ball". And their defense, when it shows up (didn't last night obviously) is no slouch. I think it turns into a good game Always wanted to go to a...

    Cris Carter......

Bandwagon. Still don't care for him.

    Impressive win?

Eagles D line is quality. We should be proud of that win. Let's be honest with ourselves, if Williams had picked off Wilson on that play, he was gone and it was a different game. It was a good win, but let's not pretend like we walked away with no mistakes. While I think we can handle the...

    Justin Britt

I'm not gonna lie, I also get down on Britt. But you know what, the only time you notice the OL is when they fail. And I noticed Britt maybe 3 times last night. Out of 80-something plays. Against a VERY good defensive line. He's a rookie, he's played against the toughest Ds in the league. All in...

    Kelly Should Coach Whiners

I think what he's saying is, by speeding up plays, the official that MIGHT have been downfield in a position to spot Carp, wasn't, because they snapped the ball so quick he as only 5-10 yards off the line of scrimmage. Carp basically snuck past him, being sneaky and all. Although if memory...

    Does Bobby Wagner..

You can do quite a bit on a toe injury...except the hard cuts that you need to do when you play. As said above, there are tons of ways he can condition and strength train without hindering healing. Swimming, sprints on a rowing machine, squats, dead lifts. All that said, he seems to be reading...

    Richardson Might Be Fast But....

He may not have "moves", but he's getting his basics down solid. He runs a great route, he improvises well when a play breaks, and he can block downfield. I'll take those things over moves right now. Moves you can figure out as you get better.

Draft Do-over: Round #2-Jordan Matthews or Paul Richardson

I think Richardson's lack of production is more a knock on our ability to throw the ball (therefore the stability of our O-line) than his skillset. I love his downfield blocking and speed. I think if Mathews wasn't playing with a guy like Maclin to take the pressure off, he'd see tighter...

My favorite play of the Santa Clara game

If we can apply this type of pressure and run shut down to the Eagles, I think we will mop the field with them. Bennett was great, as was Avril, but I was also pleasantly surprised by some guys stepping up, like Dobbs, and really getting into the backfield. Now that our D has some swagger back...

Moeaki Getting Majority of TE Snaps

Yeah, we have to remember, until Jimmy and Gronk came along, TEs were always slow, plodding beasts. Heck Jimmy and Gronk aren't altogether fast, just huge. Which is the point. TEs just need to be faster than the LB covering them, and bigger than the safety that might help. I really like the...

    John Ryan

I honestly think a smart team would think it might be in their interest to let us convert when we're anywhere near midfield. If not, you're looking at Ryan putting it inside the 5. Then you're looking at Lockette speeding down and blowing your return guy up. Then you're looking at facing OUR...

    Seahawks interested in Duron Carter

He'd have to be Megatron good for me to tolerate the association with Cris Carter...but I wonder if daddy would allow it. Wouldn't want his son associated with such a "pedestrian" group of WRs

I would rather he DIDN'T go to a division rival please. Raiders maybe? They seem to need...anything

Wilson vs Kaepernick and other tall QB Height Comparison

Let's not get a discussion going, because this topic is 3 seasons old. He owns rookie QB records, he owns second year records, he owns a Super Bowl ring. The man is more successful than 3/4 of the QBs in the NFL right now. Sorry, not to try and squash the topic, but people that still bring it up...

Kap to be Benched!? Is this True......

Definitely satire, but poorly written as it doesn't read like satire unless you realize the context of the entire website. However if they want to do that by all means!

    RW/Sherman Rise Above NBC

I loved beating the 49ers. Loooooooooved it. Especially doing it on their new "home" field (which by the way, did anyone else think that field looked like crap?) Anyway, as much as I loved beating the 49ers, even I felt it was a bit much to eat turkey on top of the logo. That would create...

    Pete Carroll on Bobby Wagner

I think it's likely it was a joke, but even if it wasn't, it's somewhat understandable. We knew Bobby was good. No doubt. But previously we had a good enough line, and then the LOB behind, that we could give a little in the middle. But with Mebane out, Bobby is really showing how good he is had...

The Thing I Hate Most About The 49ers______Thread

Hate is kinda harsh, but what I dislike is how far I feel like the Niners have fallen. I actually liked them in the 90s. Rice, Young, Watters, Norton, Bryant...it was a good group of guys that fought hard and played well. But now, it feels like they've fallen. They'll do whatever, keep whoever...

What do we know 49ers Rivalry Week Edition...

As mentioned, Gore has always had our number. The man is a very smart player and very good runner. Not flashy, but does his job and does it well. I've always liked him. That said, I hear he's battling hip and knee issues, which may mean less him, more Hyde, something that I think we should watch...
