    The (owners are for it) argument is plainly disguised as them wanting the game to be safer and to look good for future lawsuits. This is just my opinion of course, but whoever voted against this would look as if they didn't give a crap about safety. Appearances are everything in this case!

    idk- I thought they were posting some pretty legitimate concerns. If the tables were turned I would be feeling the same way. But as one poster pointed out we play the game on the field. Can't wait for the season to start! The battles are going to be epic and so will the fallout.

    I think the injury thing is probably a safety net to his future that will allow him to go balls to the wall on every play knowing that if he does get injured (career ending?) that he will at least be able to take care of things. That's the way I read it anyway.

    Put me down for neither. I don't know why everyone's saying stuff like this. Why get rid of your best talent. I think the FO figures this out without dropping any starters. It would reduce Harvins overall value to dump talent just because he signed.
