    Possible Seahawk Draft Shockers ?

I certainly expect the Seahawks to trade down from the first. I would like to see TJ Watt either with the native first or a short trade down. Very unlikely though. More likely is QB Josh Dobbs with the last 3rd rounder. Gruden's QB camp show made him look like a viable option.

    Malik McDowell

Million dollar body, nickel's worth of "want to". Yes, his potential ceiling is high but his low is the basement. I would go for Chris Wormley and let McDowell be great somewhere else.

    Quincy Wilson CB Florida

I really like Ahkello Witherspoon a lot...except for his aversion to tackling. There is a great deal to like about Quincy Wilson too, except the same aversion. Is it correctable? Maybe...but who wants to commit a 1-2 round choice on "maybe"? Wilson at least talks and acts like a confident team...

RB Eddie Lacy visits (UPDATE: Signed 1 year deal w/ Hawks)

This is one of the best drafts for RB's in some time. Best guy available in 3rd round. Young, healthy and cheap.

Hall of Famer Kenny Easley (update: he made it!)

Before the draft Kenny asked the Seahawks not to select him. He apparently did not want to play for Seattle. Admittedly, the Seahawks were not a very good team at the time. Yet he played his entire career as a Seahawks and was the most intimidating DB I ever saw. Apologies to Kam who is my...

    Time for a GM Change?

Thank you. Spoken not like a bench warmer but like someone who knows what it is and what it takes. Good post.

    If Ryan is out (w/Pic)

It did yield the same result. I can't tell you the year but against the Steelers in the Kingdome, thunderfoot went right, actually, on a similar punting down. The strangest part was that the Steelers were all peeling back and, I swear to God, if the crowd had remained silent he could probably...

    Frank Clark has 7.5 Sacks

A significant portion of the press, including the Seattle Times, tried to make a pariah of the Seahawks for drafting a domestically violent woman beater. All this without bothering to actually check out the facts of the case. There is a good reason no charges were pressed. Frank Clark has been...

    Reed

What did we give for him? I know it was multiple lower round draft picks. Anyway, I feel that it was the coup of the draft. A top 25 player for some lower round picks that might have been shows J. Schneider still has the touch. I debated but chose Joey Hunt to adopt instead of Jarren Reed...

Just have to say this about the no PI call

Of all the terms used in sports, "talking heads" is probably the most accurate. You are certainly correct in saying that they love drama. The would rather have a controversy, over anything at all, than reporting on the facts of a game. They see it better from the press box, or more usually...

And Utah. Don't forget or under-rate the Utes.

    About UW's best win...

Nice try dutchcoug. If the Cougars are as good as you say they are, would that not be a quality win for UW?

    With the rams losing today....

I'm glad the Falcons beat the Donks today. Better that than coming in pissed after losing. Denver defense did not live up to their billing today. I'm sure the Falcons had a lot to do with that. The Denver offense, with their backup QB looked even less impressive. I hope the Falcons defense...

    LSU fires Les Miles

Gus Malzahn, Les Miles, those are some pretty good discards. They won't be out of work long. Any word about the LSU staff, the rest all staying?

UW favored by 8.5 over Ducks

I dunno, they're still one of those teams that play fast (like Arizona) and could be trouble. Overconfidence needn't be overt to be there and that alone could make a long day for the Dawgs. Don't especially like playing teams that have nothing to lose.

    Friday/todays Presser.

Given Lockett's iffy knee, could you see C.J. Spiller running kicks and/or punts Sunday? I doubt that it would require extended time in the system to implement. Pete's comment about Spiller's speed made me think this could be the plan.
