    Couple Things

Say, how 'bout some Russell love? I have heard and read tons of good stuff about our defense, all very deserving mind you, they were awesome. But after his first pass, a bad one probably due to nerves, Russ was spot on the rest of the game. And I heard he had the ninth highest quarterback...

Saluting Former Seahawks On SBXLVIII Eve Eve...

Bobby Engram. Wasn't all that long ago, but I really liked how "clutch" he was in the slot. Andfearless! Many's the time he got positively slammed by the defense, but caught that ball and hung on for dear life anyway. Great player, great heart. It's no wonder my favorite current player is...

Who do you want to win sb MVP ?

I'd like to see a "regular" receiver get it -- Tate, Baldwin, or Miller. This would mean we've been very successful on offense in addition to Beast Mode.

Will Wilson throw more than 15 completions?

    When will Peyton challenge Sherman

I think it will be few and far between: Manning and Fox both know about the LoB, and I believe Fox will direct Manning to stick with his bread and butter, the quick, short pass. I think Welker and Chancellor/Thurmond get targeted a lot, but not Sherman.

Jeremy Lane Hit out of bounds video

Not only should there be a fine and some serious negative PR, but I'd like to see Goodell make a public comment about Harbaugh and the obvious lie he told the NFL investigator (and the press).

Percy Harvin back at practice today

I'm really happy Percy's back. But to make a legendary play? I'd hope it would be one of the year-long guys.

Peyton manning has not faced a top 5 defense all year

Actually, I did not know. What was I thinking? :34853_doh: Of course they lead in Pass Offense by a buttload, and this gives them a #1 in Total Offense. But their Run Offense is #15, not very good. And the numbers I quoted earlier for Defense are correct, including #27 for Pass Defense. So...

    Jeremy Lane hit

Who cares? Don't care what they do to this one guy, what are they going to do to the team? And after all the crap we had to swallow from HairBall about Adderall, I'd like to see him get some bad press for a change!

    Seahawks will CRUSH denver

Actually, their Run Defense is #7 (http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics), not all that good compared to the Whiners as you said. But what I really like is a whopping #27 for Pass Defense! WooHoo! And these guys are actually favored? :34853_doh:

Peyton manning has not faced a top 5 defense all year

Absolutely correct! Despite Manning's incredible stats, this year their Total Ooffense is third behind Indy and who? Oh yeah, that team we just beat, the Whiners. And even the Pass Offense is second behind Indy. http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics But what really interests me is that their...

    When Did Wilson Stop Running?

One good thing to say about Kaepernick (and believe me, I hate saying anything good about that arrogant cocky puss), but the boy can run. Not just when receivers aren't open, but Harbaugh designs plays just for his running. Russell is great at running too, and not just when he's running for...

    The Official 49ers Respect Thread

And here we were so concerned about stopping Gore. Who cares? CK had all the yards. At least Manning doesn't run!

this far into the week how is your confidence level

The "analytical" part of my brain is confident we win -- better team in general, our house, yada, yada. BUT . . . The "Any Given Sunday" part of my brain is nervous as hell! :34853_doh:

Excited for Our Boys, Kinda Over the Hate

Well, I'm over the hate for the fans, over for the team, even pretty much over for Harbaugh. BUT . . . I still can't stand it when Kaepernick kisses his bicep. I mean really, look at other "success celebrations": high-fives, belly-bumping, Lambeau leaps, even swivel hips. But Kaepernick's...

SF's fake punt at the end of the Carolina game.

I think that most fans across the country just aren't savvy enough to understand how dirty SF is, so they buy into some talking head's hype about the "awful Seahawks." Okay, we're not going to stop the talking heads nor educate the spectators, so it is what it is. What I don't understand is...

    With Harvin=Super Bowl w/o Harvin=Whammy

Agree totally. As others have said, you can't really tell if Baldwin is not getting open or Russ isn't finding him, or what. What I know for sure, though, is that putting Harvin on the field, even if he's never a target, will help Baldwin, Tate and Miller immeasurably because the Whiners will...

    So, it's Hawks / S.F.?

Agree wholeheartedly. Hairball is the biggest crybaby I've seen in a loooong time. And CrapCake? Sheesh, I don't ever want to see him kiss his muscle again. I'm not looking for injuries, but I really hope CrapCake takes off for a run and Bam-Bam comes in from the side unnoticed and just...
