    PFF really likes Levi Bell

I would like to see Bell make it too. The problem is that the OLB position is stacked. It probably comes down to Bell or Tyreke Smith.

    Lock Looked Pretty Good

Assuming he continues this string of quality play against Green Bay, I think he's gone after this season. Someone will roll the dice with him as their starter and I don't see Lock turning down a chance to start to return as our backup. As far as trading him, unless someone makes a ridiculous...

    Lock Looked Pretty Good

I thought Lock looked really good against Dallas. If he has another good game against Green Bay, my guess is this is his last year in Seattle. Someone will offer him a starting job next year and he'll probably take it.

    Charbonnet RB1?

Just to be clear, I think Walker is a wonderful RB and one of the best big play backs in the league. It wouldn't surprise me if Walker ends up with more carries this year than Charbonnet and I'm fine with that. I just view Walker and Charbonnet as very different backs with different strengths...

    Pete plays qb in practice

    Not bad for 71.

Does Jonathan Sutherland make the team?

I also think he'll make the team, especially if Adams isn't able to play the first part of the season. Between Adams' injury and the Hawks using more 3 safety sets on defense I think Sutherland is as close to a lock as an undrafted rookie can be.

    Trade Jamal Adams?

I agree. Given the Vikings game and what Carroll has said, I think Seattle's base defense will have three safeties on the field. It looked to me like there were 3 safeties most of the game and the front 6 switched between 2 DT and 2 ILB (essentially a 2-4) and 3 DT with 1 ILB (a 3-3). It will be...

    LB vs DE

Yes, for most of his career, he was the WILL. However, his first start in his rookie year was at MIKE replacing an injured David Hawthorne. Later that season he was moved to SAM, replacing Aaron Curry who was later traded to Oakland. In 2012 the starting linebackers were Leroy Hill (WILL)...

    LB vs DE

If I remember correctly, KJ has played both the WILL and SAM Linebacker positions at various times. I also believe he played some Mike Linebacker his rookie season.

    LB vs DE

    That's correct.

    LB vs DE

He was the SAM linebacker. In Carroll's 4-3 defense the SAM linebacker played on the line of scrimmage on the same side as the tight end.

    Jordyn Brooks nails his Physical

Hm...I think I might have answered this. I've been looking at the all 22 (from The Hawk's Nest YouTube channel) and one of the looks the Seahawks D was using was a 2-4 with two DTs (a NT and a 3 Tech) and both outside linebackers on the line of scrimmage. It's essentially a 4 man front with 2...

    Jordyn Brooks nails his Physical

It will be interesting to see how much he plays this season. Against the Vikings, the Hawks ran a lot of 3 Safety looks with only one LB who, during the season, I would assume is going to be Bobby Wagner. I assume that will continue, especially when/if Jamal Adams returns.

PFF Evals from Preseaon Game 1

So PFFs score has a significant subjective component.

PFF Evals from Preseaon Game 1

Hm...I thought Lock played much better than that grade indicates. I wonder how they came up with that number. I mean a 104.7 passer rating is a good score.

Breda Report: The More Things Change..

I would add Mike Holmgren to the list of thankyous. He got us to our first Super Bowl and would have won it if.....well.....probably shouldn't go there.

    Lock Looked Pretty Good

The throw to Easop Winston for the first TD is the throw that stood out to me. That was a rocket into a very tight window.

    I know it's preaseason BUT..Ahlers showed potential

Pass 1: Didn't see it because the camera focus was on Michael Bennett interviewing Bobby Wagner. Pass 2: The wounded duck that Matt Landers somehow turned into a touchdown. Hopefully we won't see that again. By the way, Greg Eiland (Right Tackle) and Jalen McKenzie (Left Tackle) should be...

    Stone Forsythe is ass folks

Stone Forsythe is 6' 8" so he's not moving to guard. At that size, there's no way he will win the leverage battle against NFL DTs.
