First game of the year. What's the situation?

Best time of the year to play at Lambeau. Hate to say its a must-win already but this game might decide home field in the playoffs. I think our defense will play well especially with Sheldon in the mix. I agree with others that this game will be determined by how Wilson plays.

Kasen Williams -- Why He May Have Been Cut ...

All this fuss over arguably someone who might have been at best the 5th pass catching option on this team. Moving on

    Marsh to NE

They gave Cassius enough time to show something.

    Thanks for the memories Kearse

Can't forget about that foot catch in that one game that will not be mentioned. If we would have won he would have been immortalized on that one play.

OFFICIAL: Seahawks have traded Kearse to Jets for Richardson

Sept 10 can't get here soon enough. Love that we get to see the new d-line against Aaron Rodgers right away.

    Start Chris Carson

The logic is I would rather start the RB who just last season set the Seahawks single game playoff rushing record vs the rookie who has played well on a part-time basis in the pre-season. I'm sure Carson will get another shot at some point and I hope he does blow up like we all want.

    Start Chris Carson

Give Rawls first crack to start the season. He's earned it based on how he's played when he's healthy. Can't start a 7th round rookie when all he's done is played well in a few pre-season games. Common sense peoples. Having someone like Carson on the bench is a good problem to have.

    Impressive.

I would chalk up the starting D's performance to rust. Plus they aren't the ones trying to earn a roster spot. Im sure they held back a little since no point in getting hurt in a meaningless game.

    Impressive.

I liked what I saw. Not too concerned about first team defense since it was just one series. I think our depth this year will make a huge positive impact even without Malik.

    Malik McDowell in "vehicular" accident

This sucks big time. He was going to add to our depth on the d-line. The pessimist in me thinks we wont see him till next season now

"Why Richard Sherman can't let go"

I agree with Sherman this team should have won more than 1 Super Bowl by now but there is still time. Like the above poster said this defense has not performed at an elite level as of late. The last two playoff losses the defense gave up a buttload of points

Seahawks best team in league this year

It don't matter who you beat in the regular season. All that matters is if your team is holding up the Lombardi in the end. Thats the yearly expectation now for Seahawks football. Unfortunately the Pats game is when the Seahawks peaked. They arguably might have been the best team at that...

    Well deserved. Congrats

Really good chalk talk from Huard this week

Excellent breakdown. I think Russ still has a lot of work to do in regards to navigating the pocket like Brady or Rodgers. Those are QBs who are able to buy enough time to see the entire field which is why they rarely ever make bad decisions or miss open receivers. Part of it is the o-line of...

    Future on the field

Future was born and raised in Atlanta so I do not necessarily think his appearance was all about Russell.
