    I agree. Geno has been the perfect QB for Pete’s style of play. Avoid TO’s, play with efficiency, take advantage of what the D gives you.

    The advantage Geno has in signing now is a guaranteed payday. If his play falters, or if he gets hurt, that would have a substantial hit against his income. So sign now please. 3yr, $54M, $35M guaranteed. Essentially a 2 year deal with an option.

    Not to challenge you, but Spotrac shows us as having just over $46M in 2023 cap space. My uneducated gut tells me this is a closer figure to reality.

Presently, at QB, we are behind the Zorn and Kreig days, at about the level of the Seneca Wallace, Tarvaris Jackson days and way behind Hass and RW days. We knew going in it would be rough.
