    I read a tweet, can't find it now though, that most of the top penalized players are first and second year linemen, majority tackles. Garrett Bowels is second, and only two behind the leader, Ifedi. Not that some or a lot of his penalties aren't stupid, but these young linemen are facing talent...

    Carroll said today he will be back, that he is running, cutting full speed. Said he is way ahead of schedule. It is absolutely ridiculous to suggest he can't be himself. There is no set timeframe for broken bones, everyone heals differently.

    You are mistaken, he intercepted Russ once, the game winner. But, he is the real deal, one of the best signings by any team IMO.

    The fact that the Eagles are the number one rush defense, allowing 65 yds per game, has something to do with that as well. I think Carson and now Davis have shown that the O line is taking a little too much blame for running woes.

    Yep, and TE money has been driven down. One blog I was reading somewhere estimates around 7 mil a year. I don't think Paul will be back, unfortunately. Some team is going to offer him a Maxwell like contract.

    He is being paid by Miami. He will be paid a prorated vet minimum salary. He is as cheap as any player out there. You should do your homework before you break out your "mortgaging the future" argument.

    Brown at Practice Today

    Yeah, there was one play I noticed, where he pulled around the TE and picked off a free rushing Clark, and pushed him around the qb. It was so amazingly fast and athletic, I am amazed.

    Andrew whitworth is 35, and his addition to the Rams completely changed that team. Brown is at very least as good as whitworth, if not a little better. He has 3 or more years, barring injury, if he wants to play.
