    Pre-Free Agency Mock draft #2

I love the picks of Coleman, Hargrave, and McEvoy. I'm luke warm on both Glasgow and McGovern. Caujste was I guy I really like a year ago, but I cooled off on him after watching him struggle a bit with drops. For me Coleman is on my list of "I can leave the draft without" prospect list. I love...

Late Round Nugget? -- Harvard TE Ben Braunecker

Nice post! For me Braunecker is a really intriguing prospect as a potential FB. He has the experience and "want to" as a blocker, and with his athleticism he could be a swiss army knife as a FB/H-back. He could be our version of the Raiders FB Marcel Reece, whom is a 4-time Pro Bowler.

    Too much Senior Bowl talk

I don't think anyone puts a lot of value in the actual Senior Bowl game, but sometimes the Senior Bowl practices seem a little bit over valued. Don't get me wrong there is value in those practices but, if a prospect stands out or struggles in those practices then I'll go back and look at their...

    FS-Justin Simmons, a stat. outlier?

Good post! Looking at his size, production, and performance at the NFL combine, I have a hard time believing he will be available in the 6th or even 5th round. I do like him as potential CB for the Seahawks. Let him continue to develop as a CB and let him play FS if Earl goes down with a...

TJ Green, Clemson DB, needs to be a Seahawk!

I am more intrigued with him at CB. He could back up Earl at FS while at the same time getting some reps at CB. While I don't want to use a mid-round pick on a player that is projected to be a 2nd string S and developmental CB, I could understand if that's the route we went.

Some Prospects I'd Love to see in a Seahawk Uni.

Jarran Reed is a run stopping force that I would love to see clogging up running lanes on our defense. I was a fan of his this past season when watching Alabama's defensive line. While I know the Seahawks won't use 1st round pick on a elite run stuffing DT, IMO he is going to have a long...

    Charone Peake, WR, Clemson

He has the size and speed that is very intriguing. With Ricardo Lockett no longer signed with the team, Peake could possibly replace him. Peake compares favorably to R. Lockett, similar in size and speed. We don't currently have a WR with Peake's size, speed, and upside. Peake was rated as the...

    Possible Challengers at LB

I love this prospect and hope we target him in the draft. I like this kid's competitive fire. If you go to 8:48 on this video you can see that fire. Perkins is down in a 3-point stance as the LDE, then he sees the TE motion over his side, Perkins get out of his stance and beats his chest as if...

    Correa

He is an intriguing prospect. He looks to have good initial quickness, not elite, but still good. I like his non-stop motor, and at 6-3 243 lbs he has good height and bulk for a SAM LB. But he has short arms for a guy his height and that could be a deal breaker for the Seahawks. His arm length...

    late round prospects

Here are some late round prospects I like... Michigan (CB) Jeremy Clark 6-4 210 lbs: I'm not going to lie, Clark is my favorite late round prospect for the Seahawks. tmqi-eDHxvs Gardner-Webb (DT) OJ Mau 6-2 308 lbs: If we don't draft a DT in the first 3 or 4 rounds then this is a player I...

Meet your new OLB - Tanner McEvoy, Wisconsin

Well this years draft is a bad year for LB's, so we Seahawks draftniks need to turn over every stone to find one. Wisconsin athlete Tanner McEvoy is a player to consider. burgers_59 mentioned him in his mock draft and someone else on here brought up McEvoy's name during this past college...

My Seven Round Mock (trades included)

I'm all for trades when doing a mock, but this one went a bit trade crazy (I'm assuming you did this on one of the draft games). I like your thought process of attacking the o-line in the draft. Your last three selections are a few of my favorite late round prospects. I like Tanner Mcevoy on the...

late round prospect: Michigan CB Jeremy Clark

We all have late round/undrafted free agent prospects that we love, and my dude is Michigan CB Jeremy Clark. Clark is 6-4 210 lbs, he is bigger than Sherman and it looks like his arm length is 34 inches long. Clark was a safety his first three years at Michigan, then he switched to CB as a...

    Miles Killebrew... SS Southern Utah

I think we would have to use a 2nd or 3rd round pick to get him. At one point he was talked about as being a borderline 1st round prospect.

    DT Chris Jones

"Dick" Jones was also a disruptive force vs Arkansas. I think he'll be drafted in the 2nd round.

    Oklahoma St DE/LB Emmanuel Ogbah

IMO I don't think his effort or motor is nearly as bad as Coples was or as Oakman's is. His motor is a bit inconsistent, but I wonder if that has more to due with the fact that he rarely comes off the field. Even the best DE's need to rotate so they can stay fresh throughout the game. Side...

    Oklahoma St DE/LB Emmanuel Ogbah

He was high on the draft radar before this past season. I think a lot of people including myself watched him early on and didn't initially see his explosivenes and may have turned off the tape too early. His combine numbers verify what I had seen on tape, an explosive prospect.

    Oklahoma St DE/LB Emmanuel Ogbah

Oklahoma St DE/LB Emmanuel Ogbah has that "first guy off the bus" body type and has the upside to be a disruptive force to opposing teams offense. I think he could be a good option for us in the 1st round. Ogbah is 6-4 273 lbs with 35.5 inch arm length! Some games he looks like at top-10...

    Austin Johnson

I love his motor and I think he has a high floor as a prospect. But despite his great stats I don't see above average quickness to penetrate into the backfield. He does look to have good long speed, for a bigger DT, to chase plays. It doesn't look like he has violent hands to get off blocks and...

    Jaylon Smith's future in question

If he isn't going to see the field until 2017, then maybe we could get him in the 3rd or 4th round. Redshirt him his rookie year and just hope he can fully recover to get on the field in his second year. It will be interesting to see how far he falls in the draft.
