    DT David Onemata...another freak athlete

I noticed that too, but I think that is nit picking a bit. It would be a concern if his tape showed that he quickly gave up on plays, low motor kind of prospect like Ogbah or Oakman. From his highlights, it looks like he has a good motor, so him pulling up a little early on a drill doesn't...

Players you Love that the Seahawks won't Draft

Here are a few other players I like that I don't think the Seahawks will select... DE Lattimer : Big, mean, bully on the field. Negative - he has off-field concerns that will push him down the draft board. bsFBYq_h_J0 LB/S Bobby Bushay: Bushay is an explosive hitter and sets the tone on...

    DT David Onemata...another freak athlete

Manitoba DT David Onyemata is another athletic DT that is worth keeping an eye on during the draft. He was the best DT in Canada college football, so he was a big fish in a little pond. He flashes good initial quickness, which he cemented with a 1.66 10-yard split. He is very raw, but he has the...

Players you Love that the Seahawks won't Draft

Alabama DT Jarran Reed - I'm a huge fan of Reed, he is an elite run-stuffer, hard hitting DT. He was not much of a pass rusher and he does not have the athletic upside to develop into a pass rusher. IMO he will be a key cog for someone's defense for years. Notre Dame OC Nick Martin - He is a...

Most over-rated prospect in the 2016 draft

Totally agree. Physically he looks the part...the "first guy off the bus" kind of look. But, there are a fair amount of other DT's that are more intriguing than him later in the draft.

The draft prospect we should keep a closer eye on at #26

I'm all for looking at testing numbers, but I also take into account the player's height, weight, and arm length. Yes, Bullard and Blair have a better TEF, but Butler is 40 lbs heavier than both Bullard and Blair. So, for me, I would expect the much lighter d-lineman to test better at the...

The draft prospect we should keep a closer eye on at #26

For me Butler is easily a 1st round prospect. His combination of size, length, and athleticism is outstanding. The Seahawks had dinner with Butler, so the Seahawks have legit interest in the big man...

Who are the top 5 you are hoping for at pick #26?

For me here are my guys in order... 1. (DT) Vernon Butler 6-4 323 lbs, Louisiana Tech: Coach Carroll likes big run stopping DT's even the 3-tech, so Butler has the perfect combination of size and athleticism for Carroll. Butler has incredible upside to be the next Dontari Poe or Mohamed...

Who are the top 5 you are hoping for at pick #26?

I'm like Ifedi, but in one game ( I admittedly partially watched) he did kick inside to LG for a few snaps and struggled. So its not a given that if he doesn't work out at LT or RT that he will succeed at OG. He is a big man that is agile, light on his feet, with long arms, and immense...

Brandin Bryant DT FAU pro day of the ages

Undrafted free agent. Every draft has prospects that are considered UDFA or are just completely off the radar on draft sites. A good number of them end up getting drafted as early as the 4th round. Bryant defiantly looks worthy of a mid-round pick.

Brandin Bryant DT FAU pro day of the ages

Bryant's quickness and array of pass rush moves is impressive. He has an explosive spin move...at the 1:26 mark on the video, Bryant's spin move literally breaks the arm of the LG. This frenetic pass rushing DT reminds me of John Randle.

    The Dark Horse Draft

Vitale at 240 lbs has the 4th best SPARQ score of all the RB's this year, even better than Derrick Henry. In the past there have been other stud FB's that were given a chance to compete some as a RB, guys like Brian Leonard and Peyton Hillis. Leonard was a bust as a 2nd round pick. Hillis was a...

Diamonds in the 'Gruff - Defensive Tackle

Gardner-Webb DT OJ Mau is another to add to the list. Mau is 6-1 310 lbs, he has a similar body type to Brandon Mebane. Mau has good initial quickness, he does a good job at shedding blocks, and he looks like he has a good motor. Scouts from the Ravens, Rams, and Panthers have shown interest...

Rookie impact on the active roster (46 man)

Very good point. It's interesting to look at the Seahawks roster on seahawks.com and see they don't have any FB's on the roster. Brandon Cottom, who was a rookie last year, is listed as a TE and not a FB. I believe Lynch preferred having a FB blocking for him, now that he is no longer on the...

Travis Feeney out of UW Pro Day after sports hernia surgery

I like Feeney a lot but, with multiple shoulder surgeries and now hernia surgery I wouldn't draft him before the 6th round. He must still have issues with his shoulders because he did all the NFL combine events except bench press, which puts the shoulder in a vexing position.

I'm on the Vannett bandwagon as well.

    Titan3131's Mid proday mock draft

It's just the way you stated your opinion as though it were a fact. Saying this prospect or that prospect "will be available in the 7th round" or "will go undrafted" makes it sound like a fact.

    Titan3131's Mid proday mock draft

There are a few new names for me, so thanks! Matthews is a very impressive prospect and I agree that he will probably be drafted in the middle rounds. Matthew had a very impressive Pro Day... Height: 6-6 Weight: 222 lbs. 40 time: 4.44 Broad jump: 10' 09" Vertical jump: 38 inches Side note...

    Titan3131's Mid proday mock draft

That's being a bit dismissive. It's cool if "you" think Maiava and Matthews are 7th round prospects, but making statements like "will be available" or "will go undrafted" is kind of ridiculous.
