All 22 @DAL (quick passing game)

Tough to see in the GIF, but if it is indeed PI, that certainly lends credence to some of the complaints in the thread about the total lack of opponent defensive holding/PI penalties.

    The Portland Trailblazers

I don't think anyone really expects them to be very competitive with the top 5 teams in the West (Warriors, Spurs, Clippers, Rockets, and Thunder), but after those teams there look to be a lot of big question marks. Obviously it's still very early in the season, so the usual caveats apply, but...

PFF: Justin Britt most improved OG in 2Q of season

https://twitter.com/PFF_Ben/status/662405957331361794 This seems consistent with what we've seen this season, i.e., he was straight-up awful in the first few games, but has played relatively well the last couple of games. Hopefully the whole line continues to improve as the season goes on...

Have the Seahawks drawn a single opposing holding penalty?

This is the kind of analysis we need. Thank you. I wonder what this looks like for last year.

Not the all 22 thread but...

Really? You know that's what he would have said? As a general rule, it's best not to put words into other people's mouths. For my part, if Wilson throws on time and Graham isn't looking for the pass, I definitely would put the blame on Graham, because he needs to anticipate the throw coming to...

Have the Seahawks drawn a single opposing holding penalty?

Well, last year Seattle led the league in penalties (or was very near the top). So it wasn't a matter of the games just drawing fewer penalties. And I think this year the drop in penalties is partly related to the O-line cleaning up some of the pre-snap issues they've had in the past.

Have the Seahawks drawn a single opposing holding penalty?

It was well documented last year that Seattle opponents were penalized far less than other teams. I think it remains true this year. Hawkblogger addressed this recently: http://www.hawkblogger.com/2015/10/seahawks-get-no-help-from-refs.html I have no idea if this is statistically significant...

Have the Seahawks drawn a single opposing holding penalty?

What kind of holding? They've definitely drawn offensive holding penalties. I don't think they've drawn defensive holding penalties.

Some love for Bevell, Graham, and Britt(!) from Fieldgulls

Yet another comment that illustrates why it can be so difficult to have a reasoned discussion about the offense. I've only encountered one poster on this board so far who thinks Bevell is great or even good (Siouxhawk). All the other Bevell "defenders" merely think he's not completely to blame...

Bye Week Poll: Has Bevell seen the light?

If I hear someone say one more time "we only scored 13 points so Bevell sucks" I'm going to lose it. I'm not a Bevell lover like you, but there are a LOT of reasons why an offense might struggle besides the OC being terrible. The Hawks have been very successful on offense the last three years...

Some love for Bevell, Graham, and Britt(!) from Fieldgulls

We are really spoiled with places like .NET and FieldGulls, that's for sure.

Some love for Bevell, Graham, and Britt(!) from Fieldgulls

It's this sort of comment that makes it difficult to discuss what's going on with the offense. Offense struggles to scores, and automatically we blame one guy, even though there are other coaches (Carroll, Cable) and 11 guys on the field who are responsible for its success or failure. I'm not...

Is Tim Kawakami the definitive football sage?

The one time I read Kawakami, he came across as a paranoid hack. Even if he was able to predict the 9ers downfall, so what? It didn't take a genius to see they were about to go down the toilet.

Bye Week Poll: Has Bevell seen the light?

I think the above pair of quotes nicely summarizes the state of Bevell discussion on this board. One group of Bevell haters says the problem is that he gets too cute trying to be unpredictable. Another group says he's too predictable. I mean, come on. This is getting ridiculous. Obviously...

    I'm calling this shot now.

I think he wanted examples where the team ended up winning the Super Bowl. The 2003 Patriots won 12 in a row to end the regular season, then obviously went on to win the Super Bowl. So they won 15 in a row to end that season. Then they started the next season 6-0 before dropping a game. So if...

Question about Richardson and injury updates.

According to Pete last week, Richardson is ready. But the short week makes activating him tricky, since he'd get so little practice in before the game.

KJ Wright the best LB in NFL through 5 weeks

Yep. To be fair, they basically admitted that their grading system doesn't work for QBs, because they don't account for pre-snap reads and adjustments. Which is like half a QB's job.

Week 4 Injury Reports -- Marshawn & Mebane OUT

Also, if there's a week when you can afford to miss Mebane, it's this week. The Lions barely ever run the ball, and when they do, they suck at it.
