    If it's not Bevell

The fact that he specifically mentioned penalties and quality of play make me think he's frustrated with the O-line, and I would have to place the blame there as well. Sure, we had some dropped passes, but on the whole I don't think our receivers are sub-par. Par, maybe, when averaged out, but...

    If it's not Bevell

As seen in another thread, Baldwin commented on the offensive struggles and defended Bevell and the playcalling, so let's entertain that perspective. Let's say Bevell is actually great and the plays being called put us in the best position to succeed--what, then, is wrong? Is it the QB play...

    The Smallest Changes

We don't need a complete rebuild like, say, Chicago or Cleveland. But only making "minor changes" is what got us where we are now, coasting on our laurels and trying to recapture what we had in '13-'14. Missing the playoffs has brought that era to a close, and to try to emulate it again would be...

    Worst Newcomer

Walsh and Lacy probably played themselves out of the league. Talk about bad years, yeesh.

    Seahawks coaches being sought after?

Yeah are you really surprised? It's no secret throughout the league that Bevell leans on players like Lynch, Wilson, Favre, Harvin, etc. to succeed. His offenses have never succeeded because of scheme or game-planning, it's been because of improvisation at the QB position or transcendent...

David Hsu on the future of the coaching staff. (rumor)

So every coach may or may not return, and Wilson should remain the starting QB. Glad we got that ironed out.

Predict the changes to the coaching staff!

I feel like many of these predictions are more wishful thinking. The front office clearly doesn't feel the same way about the coaches as the fans do (at least they haven't the last couple years). I would honestly be surprised to see Bevell fired. Pleasantly surprised, but surprised nonetheless...

Biggest Suprise & Biggest disappointment this season?

My biggest surprise and disappointment are one in the same: the offense. After slow starts the last couple seasons, I really believed this would be the year they would come out swinging, that it wouldn't take eight weeks to "find a rhythm" or "gel." Not only did they get off to a slow start...

    Pete's comments on Offense

Can anybody transcribe some quotes, or was it just tone of voice?

Bennett " I probably won't be back next year. "

I'll miss him. He was a baller this year. Do we save any money?

    Pete's comments on Offense

    Watch him trade Wilson, lol.

The good news: we are finally free

We are finally free from the past. No more SB 48, no more talk of 49. We're no longer even a playoff team. This team's championship identity was always predicated on being an underdog and fighting on the way up. We obviously struggled with maintaining a championship identity, but good news: we...

    Marshawn Lynch crosses 10,000 yards!

Nice! Should make him a lock for the Hall.

A team with playoffs hopes fired their winning coach after a disappointing season? How ridicu--oh. Wait.

Paul Richardson to request over $7 million per year

His price tag just dropped this afternoon.

    9-7, great season!

We played like a 9-7 team all year. It was apparent after the first quarter. Is anyone surprised?

How Many Were Rooting For The Miss?

Meh, we always throw away our 1st round pick anyway. We haven't drafted well there since Thomas/Okung. But hey, maybe this year we'll draft an O-lineman to compete for a backup spot!

    DRAIN THE SWAMP!

Yeah I think that means making Bevell HC and flooding the staff with his friends and family.

    4-4 at Home

4-4 at home this year. Let that sink in. The mighty Seahawks, .500 in Seattle. Sit back and grab a beer, boyos. This should be a bumpy offseason (if we're lucky).

Paul Richardson to request over $7 million per year

If the coaches are as high on Darboh as reports suggest, then I expect Darboh to step into the #2 spot for less money. Though honestly I'd be surprised if Richardson got that much with his injury history.
