    Penny-Carson or Carson-Penny?

I think the Seahawks RB's are in pretty good shape. Current Seahawk RB stats: Chris Carson: 111/497/4.48-YPC/long of 24, 2-TD's: Good numbers but the # of games missed is of concern.. Mike Davis: 78/346/4.44-YPC/long of 37, 3-TD's: Good numbers for a capable backup, worth having if injury...

    Penny-Carson or Carson-Penny?

Right now, I think Penny and Carson should play alternate series and then go with the hot hand. Both should benefit from playing for a full series. If Penny is the workhorse back that I think he can become, he needs a consistent 12-18 carries a game to get into a rhythm at this point in his...

    Rashaad Penny

I know many here consider Marshawn Lynch the greatest Seahawk RB of all time, and I would tend to somewhat agree with that consideration, however: (1) Lynch's first season in Seattle was in 2010, after he had 4 seasons in Buffalo where he accumulated two 1000+ seasons in his first two years...

    Rashaad Penny

Interesting that posters in this thread are completely ignoring the FACT that Penny was injured for the vast majority of the preseason. Maybe that is a reason for his "slow start" in his very first NFL season?

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread - (Seahawks @ Rams)

I am a homer type fan & always expect my team to win even when 10 point underdogs. Any given Sunday type of thing. So, I'm expecting a high scoring game with multiple comebacks from both teams. IF, the defense is up to the task, and the offense executes & performs up to their capabilities...

    Rookie Running Backs

RE: Penny. What about missing the majority of his 1-st ever NFL preseason due to hand injury? Bell cow type RB's need carries to show what they have (ala Beast mode) missing most of the preseason is and was a setback for Penny, he just needs time to get up to speed, hopefully, we'll see him get...

    Wilson is not Elite

Tom Brady: 1-st year in NFL - 2000, -------19 seasons played, so far. Aaron Rodgers: 1-st year in NFL - 2005, -------14 seasons played, so far. Drew Brees: 1-st year in NFL - 2001, -------18 seasons played, so far. Phillip Rivers: 1-st year in BFL - 2004, -------15 seasons played, so far. Ben...

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread - (Chargers @ Seahawks)

I see a high scoring game coming: Seahawks win 38-27. Not exactly a blow out, but a hard fought and well deserved win to keep playoff thinking alive. One game at a time and "refuse to lose", should be the battle cry. :smilingalien:

CB-Bryce Hall, Virginia, a junior, maybe he's in 2019 draft?

An interesting player to watch, looks pretty Seahawky to me. He's a Junior, not sure if he'll want to come out for the 2019 NFL draft, but if so, a good prospect to keep in mind as I think PC will see his great potential, like he did with Flowers. --CB-Bryce Hall (Junior), Virginia, 6-1/200...

The Seahawks OL Is The Best In The NFL

I think OLT-Brown has had an impact on the entire OL as pretty much a "coach on the field", I've noticed numerous times where Brown is coaching up his fellow lineman both in games and practices, especially in pass protection. ORG-Fluker is the most obvious guy that is greatly improving the...

Aros' Fearless Prediction Thread - (Seahawks @ Lions)

I see a slight beat down coming for Detroit; 4-TD's (3 passing, 1 rushing) + 1-FG for the Seahawks. & 1-TD + 2-FG's for Detroit. This is then a Seahawks WIN with a 31-13 final score. :smilingalien:

    A tale of two quarterbacks

""I'm always willing to teach those willing to learn..."" per Semiahmoo. = Pure Arrogance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What qualifies you as a "teacher for those willing to learn"? Seems like Semiahmoo feels he is so smart & we are all dumb as hell so I have to wonder if he...

Husky LB, Ben Burr-Kirven, National def. player of the week.

NOTE: This post has been deleted 5/22/20, ------- this comes after multiple unprovoked attacks on me by the asshole acer1240. I will never post here again. This site has officially gone to hell & I'll never return.

I’m happy about the win but ....Things I find strange

""If we don't heavily fine Earl for missing practice, I'll agree with you."" IIRC, Beastmode used to miss a lot of practices and even some games because "he didn't feel right". This was allowed by PC likely due to the perceived superstar status of Lynch. IIRC, I don't recall Lynch ever being...

    Forget The Exodus

Rookies don't get enough individual "quality" practice time in pads, with contact. The preseason games are used primarily to evaluate all their new guys + getting veterans up to speed. The end results = rookies are still learning (a lot of stuff) when the first few games of the season start...

Transition to put it on Russ

:sarcasm_on: All of this we are doomed talk, after one lousy game, played at high elevation & 90 degree heat against a top 5 D-line and a team with a fantastic opening game record. If that game was to be a win, the OL needed to do their job and actually block most of those pass rushers instead...

    Yesterday's announcers

Forgot to add: The radio pregame stuff is often much more informative than what one gets on the TV pregame shows, however Fox coverage on TV (channel 13) isn't too bad in that regard because they are the official Seahawks channel but then all of the games aren't always on Fox. :smilingalien:

    Yesterday's announcers

Easy fix. (I highly recommend trying this if you are tired of bias outsiders calling the game.) For years now, I have listened to the KIRO radio broadcasts with Rab's calling the game while watching the game on TV. I have an ear bud from a radio in one ear and can listen to the TV broadcast...

Who scores the 1st TD of season?

Marshall, Baldwin, Lockett, Green, Griffin, Ford, Clark & Dickson should all show well. Many of the 2018 draft pick guys are going to make their presense known, this may go down as one of the Seahawks best draft classes. Young and hungary wins the day. :smilingalien:
