Raiders and Geno reach an agreement

For that to happen it would require JS to draft OL early and often and another TE. We will see if that happens.

Raiders and Geno reach an agreement

True but the Raiders probably offered the most and it worked out for both sides. As for the vision on offense for the Seahawks I am failing to see a vision so far as it looks more like spray and pray. The draft will be very telling indeed with how they choose to focus building up the roster.

Joe Milton Traded to the Cowboys

I like what I have seen little of Milton. If he sticks around he might become a solid backup/spot starter at some point. Dallas is definitely thinking about like after Dak in a few years.

Raiders and Geno reach an agreement

That is true it is not always about money. I think with DK it definitely was about money more so than anythign else. For Geno the disrespect from JS probably made the decision easier. JS really has to learn better communication because he is a poor communicator for a GM.

    Mock morons

The defense is in great shape. I have no clue what is going on with the offense. So anything is possible.

Raiders and Geno reach an agreement

Great bargain for the Raiders. And they can still land a QB if they want but I think it would be a waste of a first round rookie contracts IMO ala Falcons 2024.

    Top Billing on Sam Darnold

My counterpoint to that JS doesn't have many players on offense under contract long term and he has 10 picks which means the team is closer to retooling/reloading/rebuilding than making a playoff push. I am not sure about the playoff push for 2025 but it seems that 2026 is the target date for that.

    Trouble in Paradise (Santa Clara)?

QB an DB for sure. I would throw in RB and TE as well. WR has a bit of question marks with Aiyuk's future, Pearsall has to prove himself and to see if Gage returns to form. But they did sign Robinson but we will see. My feeling is that the 49ers will draft another WR or two. But they will...

    Trouble in Paradise (Santa Clara)?

49ers are in very good shape in this upcoming season. People are really sleeping on them but Vegas isn't sleeping on them though.

    Top Billing on Sam Darnold

Well I think it is more honest to say you need to improve LG and OC and then add a young talented WR that can stretch the field. Will JS do it or will he squander the bounty of draft picks he has on pet projects and adding more depth to a defense which is already elite on paper top to bottom?

You do not watch a lot of Seahawk football if you think Lockett is a soft. Ever hear a guy named Galloway?

D.K. reportedly requested trades in several recent offseasons

Arthur Smith is very good OC given the QB talent he has worked with lately. You meant that as an insult but it just reveals you do not watch a lot of football.

Should we do this? versitile OL at 18

We will see what the "GRAND master plan" is for the interior OL. Even if the young current guards can elevate their game to C or B level you need at least one player to be an anchor or near A level to gel that interior unit. So if Zabel is Creed Humphries 2.0 but healthier why would you pass...

    Why would anyone be complaining?

My counterpoint to that argument is this. Teams that become stingy and not paying high end WR talent tend to historically struggle. See the Patriots letting J. Myers move to the Raiders, Titans trading away AJ Brown, etc. And sometimes teams that go far still do not overcome that hurdle (eg...

Are the Raiders in trouble already?

And Wilkins who figures to be in the mix. I like JPJ upside the most. Haynes and Barton did good from the Senior Bowl if I recall correctly but JPJ was just a notch better IMO with his Senor Bowl performance and rookie year in the NFL. Grated Barton was learning to play center while Haynes...

And the have Bowers too. And they will be adding more reinforcements in the trenches.

Are the Raiders in trouble already?

The Raiders approach may shock people but they are going to focus on building up players that are buying into the organization and coaching staff. People may perceive Geno as a quick fix but actually what they are doing is building a foundation so the young players can learn how to be pros with...

Who else is worried about Byron Murphey?

Murphy is developing just fine. The truth is that line play requires a year or two to be acclimated to the NFL game and have access to NFL weight training programs. A lot of colleges do not have access to such tools and that is why some prospects show big progress as pros. Plus, keep in mind...

    Top Billing on Sam Darnold

You are not alone because the offense has way too many question marks compared to the defense.
