    Hawks signing Amari Cooper?

Sorry but I do not see the value of adding Cooper at this point. You are going to be running a more "balanced" offense and using 2 TE sets more frequently. You have WRs under contract that can excel in the short and intermediate area. Adding Cooper to be the 3rd/4th player off the bench...

With their first round pick the Seahawks select….

Interesting because I think the defense is set for the most part. I would be shocked if they ignore offense in round 1. Now, if there is a run on offensive players which causes defensive players to free fall again then I can see JS going defense again for pure value and BAP.

Seahawks GM knows you, hears you, feels you...

Trading back may indicate that JS wants to double dip at positions like interior OL, WR, LB, DB, etc. But with that said the Seahawks already have 10 picks and how much roster churn do they anticipate right now with the bottom of the roster?

    Potential Sam Howell trade?

Right. that is what I am doing as well to see what the draft tells us which direction they are going on offense. But a lot of players are on rookie contracts on offense already so I am not sure adding more rookie contracts on offense is going to be the silver bullet many people are hoping it to be.

    Potential Sam Howell trade?

Not that bad to have a cheap backup QB and worth a deeper look. Truthfully with a new OC you expect turnover with what they are looking for at the QB position and other positions on offense But the flipside is I have no clue what is going on with the offense because: Who is a core player on...

Time to bring the lumber. JS needs some discipline! Fix the trenches!

Seahawks GM knows you, hears you, feels you...

Thank you but JS has a history of making Seahawks the bag holders when it comes to OL reinforcements. Prove me wrong JS!

Seahawks GM knows you, hears you, feels you...

Seahawks need to be able to land at least 1 of the top 20 OL or else it just becomes the status quo even with new scheme/improvement from the youngsters. Going from 32 rank OL to 25 rank OL due to new scheme and development isn't going to move the needle for more wins as a result. Asking the...

    Grading John's Drafts

True because you have to be able to identify talent that you can develop and coach up beyond higher picks.

    Grading John's Drafts

Trading down has to be done with purpose and with a plan in mind. Seahawks currently own 10 picks so trading down would not really make sense in the grand scheme of things given this talent is light with blue chip/first round graded players. But plenty of meat in the middle. JS could go BAP...

    Grading John's Drafts

Trade downs tend to be a wash which is why the Seahawks and Patriots that in recent history did a lot of trade downs did not yield that much better draft results if they stuck with their draft slotting and drafting BAP if you examine the last ten years. Trade down advantage is to replenish...

    I've got a feeling

Unless a team is crazy about a falling player like Sanders or Tet. Or even there is a crazy run on QBs like the 2024 draft which also had a run on offensive players.

    Playoffs? Pre draft poll.

I will add I want to see what players they add to the team via the draft too but for now I voted no.

With their first round pick the Seahawks select….

Many factors like the team training the player transition, scheme fit, etc. If you mean a percentage of players successfully converting from tackle to guard then I do not know this.

    Drew Lock Returns

So I am not sure why people are upset with JS doing this. JS knows you have to stack QB talent when you do not have an answer at QB. First, Howell, then the ginger and now Lock. I would not be surprised if JS chooses to draft a QB too and the team moves forward with the top three.

Who will have a better season, Hawks or Raiders?

There is no one on the roster that can replace Cross so at some point the Seahawks need to spend money to retain their talent.

Who will have a better season, Hawks or Raiders?

You know what is really crazy? Why hasn't Cross been offered an extension by now? Also, the Raiders may be looking to upgrade that right side of their OL.

Seahawks GM knows you, hears you, feels you...

More like JS is on the ledge already but not doing the job right means like a Buffalo he is sheepishly going off a cliff!

With their first round pick the Seahawks select….

Most of these tackles will convert to guard in the pros so this a deep draft with OGs for that reason but JS better not screw this up.
