    It is strange isn't it? All I've heard is how good of a player JSN is and this is the 2nd OC to ignore him in the gameplan. Why is he not getting more opportunities???

    Ehhh not yet. 4th and long. If you miss we are guaranteed to be down 17 and possibly 21. I'd see a bigger argument for it if we didn't get the ball first after halftime.

    100% agree with everything. That DK fumble really hurt. Our chance is somehow getting Goff into 3rd and long. I think they need to start selling out the run more, force Goff to beat you and not let Gibb's/Montgomery have a field day.

    Goff is good but this isn't him it's the running game. The only time he had to navigate a 3rd and long so far he got sacked. Every 3rd down has been short and he can just hand it off.

    That is all true but the difference as the title states is last year we didn't have coverage/scheme or talent. The scheme is better but our run defense is missing guys.

    Keys to a win this week

    My biggest worry right now is stopping Detroits running game. Both Williams/Murphy being out could be the key to the game if we can't stop them up front. Hoping Macdonald can dial up something to help with that.

    I'm curious to see this Macdonald defense against a competent passing game/offense and we see that next week and i'm very very interested to see how they look against the 49'ers offense and Rams. I'm guessing they will give up some TD's but overall look better than the hot knife through butter...

The passionate ones want the team to be as great as possible and pointing out large issues on the team is fine because the sloppiness of the O-Line will not fly against better teams...

    Weird stuff like this happens often with announcers. It is annoying but they have to try to keep track of 32 teams players. "DJ Metcalf" is annoying and common to hear.
