    First offseason move- Fire Norton

I agree. Heading into the season I thought Seattle would have an elite front 7... and yet they were bottom 5 in the league. LBs are Norton's specialty.. and they were bad in coverage and against the run.

When will we hold Pete accountable for

I feel like Pete's will never change his philosophy.. He deeply believes that you need to run the ball to win games.. and you know what, he may be right? But, when you have an all world QB, a below average defense, and a 5th string RB.. I think you need to be adaptable enough to try something...

Erin Andrews is covering this game so this thread title really confused me.

GB worst loss of season came after bye week

Let's hope they come out flat again after this bye week:) (37-8 drubbing by the 49ers)

    Go Vikings

SF and NOs are in the same class.. I would have said the same thing last week, but after going in to NOLA and doing them like they did.. You have to believe anything is possible.

Clowney did NOT get fined for his hit on Nick Foles

It's a good thing because he didn't even play Jacksonville this year.. ;)

David Moore 38yd catch and run was pivotal

He played something around 70% of the snaps, and quite honestly I think we should try to get him this again. Turner and Brown are fine, but I think Moore is the best of the three of those guys.

    Seahawks almost missed the playoffs?

Absolutely. You could open a bag of twenty "What Ifs" throughout the season.. This one is a little different to me because - It's a 2 game swing against the next closest team to making the playoffs - It as a single event at the end of the game which would dictate the result of the game Even if...

    Seahawks almost missed the playoffs?

Thanks, genius. The exercise was to ask if anyone considered this given how the Seahawks finished.

    Seahawks almost missed the playoffs?

Has anyone else considered that if Zurlein had made the 44 yard FG which he pushed less than 1 foot wide, the Seahawks wouldn't have made the playoffs? I know it's digging into a bag of "what-iffs", but it's a crazy thought considering they almost won the division week 17 by an inch. Hawks...

    Homer/Lynch > Carson/Penny

I'd argue that the Penny loss was worse then the Carson loss. Carson is a beast/grinder, but is more prone to fumbling, and cannot hit the home run. Penny takes care of the ball, and was beginning to collect quite a few explosive plays. Let's also not forget what happened when we had both of...

    Homer/Lynch > Carson/Penny

I'll tell you one thing I do not miss, Chris Carson's fumbles. Dude may have lost NO game, and he certainly tried to lose PHI and Pitt for us. I also, like how they aren't running as much. Certainly the Hawks realize that they'll need to rely on the passing game a bit more which is a bonus.

Seahawks only 4 point underdogs @Lambeau

I think it's a good sign that of all of the road teams, the Hawks have the lowest spread.

Why doesn't Pete like John Ursua?

This is a great thread IMO. Ursua jumps out on the screen every time he's given a shot. In Pre-Season, he caught a ball over the middle and in one move avoided a tackler, similar to Baldwin. You know there's a problem when people who know nothing about football, start to identify things before...

    This year's defense historically bad

Would you like to take a look at how the DLINE performed with and without Quinn? Bennett said Quinn changed his career and gives him a lot of credit for his success- also why he came back from TB. So yeah, I'm being specific- add a coordinator who is a technically superior DLINE coach.. Norton...

    This year's defense historically bad

When you have a bottom 5 defense it's both, my dude. DLINE and Norton are the biggest issues.
