Shawn Oakman. Sign him for no other reason than to get off the bus first. Dude's a beast.

You guys ready to have Norton fired yet???

Pretty sure if Quin accepts any job, he will no longer get paid from Atlanta. (Fired coaches still get their contracts honored...unless they violated it.) So, we would need to match the remaining contract to even entice him. Somebody look it up. I'm at work.

    Russ jersey

In my experience, you get what you pay for with jerseys. I've bought 2 jerseys online (retro Largent, black Wilson) and both were cheaply made. I bought a Wilson salute to service jersey from a brick and mortar, and couldn't be happier. It cost more than the other 2, but the quality is...

Advanced math on Russell Wilson's passing statistics

Division/Multiplication is advanced math? :sarcasm_off: And he should have 15 TD passes, right DK?

    Jordyn Brooks getting the start

Jamal Adams trade and giving up two 1st rounders

Anyone remember who we drafted with the two first rounders we got from Dallas for Joey Galloway? Me neither. Edit: It was Shaun Alexander and Koren Robinson.

so this is what respect is

Dug this up from page 525, OP is 8 years old. As a Seahawks fan in Northern CA, I get respect all the time from opposing fans. A lot has changed since our Super Bowl victory.

At 62, Seattle selects: Christine Michael, RB Texas A&M

I think he's a CURRENT back-up who could emerge as the starter in a few years. Look, we're loaded. You're kind of implying we should draft based on NEED; I don't think that's the best way to maintain a competitive roster and successful franchise. We're in a good position when our top picks...

    Seahawks signed QB Jerrod Johnson

I imagine he meant it when he tweeted this two years ago (Dec 2011), when he was fresh out of Texas A&M and in no way related to the Seahawks. However, I imagine he'll have a new perspective on it now.

    Seahawks signed QB Jerrod Johnson

He was actually quite good in college. He's currently the Texas A&M career leader in passing yards and total offense, records that Johnny Manziel will probably break. Second-team, All Big-12 in 2009...he went 296 of 497 for 3,579 yds, 30 TDs, and 8 Ints. He also rushed 145 times for 506 yards...

Real News -- we signed a WR

2010 was his best year. Injuries to Deion Butler and Mike Williams meant some starts and significant targets for Obomanu. I remember a long one (TD) against the Cardinals at home. Obomanu was a legitimate project - at one point. Swain wasn't in the league last year and was cut by GB and...

    Please critique my Seahawks speech

Jew & Omaha, lighten up. I think this being a PUBLIC SPEAKING class and not a portfolio proposal to an investment firm, the OP's being graded on delivery more than content. Don't bog the OP down in semantics and harsh their mellow. OP: Say what you're going to say, say it, summarize what...

Real News -- we signed a WR

You should consider apologizing to Obomanu. "Obomanu has 87 career catches for 1,209 yards and seven TDs, all with Seattle, which drafted him in Round Seven in 2006." Swain has 8 catches for 87 yards in his NFL career (2008). He's a ST player at best, camp fodder at worst.

    Please critique my Seahawks speech

Kinda what I was thinking - you have a two-part persuasion going on here. 1) Convince them that "betting" is a good way to make or invest money and 2) convince them that the Hawks are the best of the 32 options. Let me know how it goes...and kudos to you for putting your thoughts out there...

    I am a Breno supporter.

Agreed - he's done an admirable job with the role he was given and ended the year trending in the right direction. Also, it's a matter of who do you bring-in to replace him? I'm not a GM, so that's not my job. And I definitely "like" Breno, love watching him play the game, respect the...
