    Jason Myers

Sounds like a raider 1st round pick

    Harbaugh extends coaching offer

Honesty, all I had to do was watch his movie. I know all I need to know.

    Team has depth

I agree. It's the youth and potential I'm excited for. 2010 saw the start of Earl Thomas, Golden Tate, Okung, Thurmond, BamBam Kam, And who can forget the KONZ. LOL 2011 draft saw us get KJ, Sherman, Maxwell. The 2011 preseason was probably my favorite preseason all time. I could tell...

    Team has depth

Yes, end of 2012 was the last time I saw a dynamic offence. Granted spurred on by epic defense. 58-0 v Arizona 50-17 vs the Bills 42-13 vs San Fran

    Team has depth

I hear you. I think Geno is more cerebral, and I see him going off this season. However, we were really an amazing offence with the read option for a minute there, but it didn't last. We have not been a dynamic offence since. I think Grubb at Geno's will be a very popular theme this year...

    Team has depth

I agree. It feels very 2011ish. Remeber when the backups were just better than, kicking asses, taking names. Everyone playing with their hair on fire. Feels the same.

    "Best man/Always Compete"

I hated seeing the Seahawks try to park Bennitt on the p Squad. I could not believe they would be dumb enough to even try. It was such a irrational move, and to top it off they kept 2 kickers far too long. However PC was in USC at the time and JS was at Greenbay. That was the Jim Moran year...

Great, there goes our element of surprise. 😁

    Grubb

You act like he was hanging out the passenger side of Debours ride. I have high hopes for him. My guess is we get him for 3 years tops before he gets poached. It may be sooner. I hope he will change your tune, and you'll be singing "what a man what a man, what a mighty mighty good man".

    Adopt-a-Rookie (2024 Edition)

I had to go with Murphy. Interior pass rush for Pete's sake! (Intended) We have needed that so bad for so many years. Qbs dodge edges routinely, but have a much harder time when the rush comes from the middle. Next is Haynes. Basically for the same reason, just opposite.

2013 Seahawks Defense vs 2024 Seahawks Defense

I'm going to stand corrected on much of this. It was my understanding that the west coast offence was what did the 46 in, but I was 4 at the time. Lol. Eras are hard to compare for sure. If the nfl let the LOB play by the same lax rules I think the hawks could have been even better Stat wise.

2013 Seahawks Defense vs 2024 Seahawks Defense

It will depend on how soon the defense will be figured out. Now I am a Homer for sure, but I say the LOB was potentially the best D ever (hear me out). The LOB was the best Defense in the nfl for multiple years, vs the bears that got figured out very fast. The LOB did it when offenses were...

Coaching Up QB's, RB's and OLine Together

Only thing I would disagree with is the assertion that they ignored the oline. Nope, they just didn't draft/develop well. It's a stain on the previous regime (i hope it was not a JS problem too), regardless of how much I appreciate them.

    Pick #81 - G Christian Haynes

They spent capital on the oline. Carpenter, Moffitt, Justin Britt(round 2) Okung ( to a slightly lessor degree) all failed. The one I remeber who eventually did well was max Unger. Of course they traded him. I've said it before. PC/JS failed the trenches.

    We didn't get a new broom .

Pete was not cancer. I think some of the players were, and his message was getting lost. It was time for him to go. Compair the hit rates of JS against any other gm and he going to be very high on the list of top GMs. It's his time to show what he has, and if this draft is an indication of...

That's a great way to say it. Welcome aboard.

    23 Draft... A bust?

Nope, this was a GREAT draft. I'm still butt hurt about not taking Carter... but spoon is Man! Great consolation prize. We have not seen a draft this good in a while. I'm still holding out hope for Hall.

Pick #136 - CB Nehemiah Pritchett

He ran 4.36 40. His tape looks solid also. This looks like a great pick with extreme potential.
