2 picks in the 2nd and 2 picks in the 3rd

I wonder. If we had to choose between Milroe & Sanders at #50, who people would pick?

    RD 2 wants

Adding another solid OL could turn a long time weakness into a strength. And then it could really turn into a strength with solid depth that injuries couldn't phase. It's all about getting a leg-up on the division.

    RD 2 wants

The only two players I'd move up for are CB Will Johnson or DT Darius Alexander. If we stay put I think we will come away with 3 or 4 solid players today. I would think DT, LB, CB/S would be high on the list. Milum or Fannin Jr would really jack this draft up but don't think either will be there...

With the 18th pick the Seahawks select.....

Nice. I have a feeling John will find a couple dogs tomorrow.

Why I hope we don't trade up

We have 5 top 100 picks, we need to use them wisely from a trying to build a playoff roster perspective. Everyone knows my opinion on the OLine, it is unquestionably our biggest weakness. I would use a 1st & 2nd or a 1st & 3rd on OL. My next priority to maximize team improvement would be adding...

    O-Line talk is "lazy narrative"

He's convoluted & bullheaded, this may not bode well for us. There is no other position group in such dire need of upgrade(s), the OLine is the only one on life support. The BAP vs need argument is not relevant and here's why. 1) Whatever the choices between positions at 18, there is not likely...

With their first round pick the Seahawks select….

I see John as a Benihana Chef who is working with a cheap set of steak knives at this point. Here is the deal, take it or leave it Picking at #18 there will be 2, 3 or 4 IOL that will have a 60% chance of being a plug & play starter as a rookie and a solid+ starter as long as you keep them...

    Round 1 shocker prediction

Honestly, the biggest 'shocker' for me will be if JS goes OL at #18.

    Potential Sam Howell trade?

The Seahawks sent a 3rd (#78) and a 5th (#152) to Washington for Howell and a 4th (#102) and a 6th (#179). -Basically we got Howell for moving down from #78 in the 3rd to #102 in the 4th round. Right now if they found a trade partner, it would likely be packaging SH with a day 3 pick to move...

    I've got a feeling

Just a guess but 50 & 52 might get us to the mid to high twenties. I would prefer packaging a 2nd & 3rd to move up in the 2nd. I've wondered the same thing, I could also see them using lower picks to move up in the 4th, 5th.

    Grading John's Drafts

I have tried to be impartial during this exercise, it is very much subjective and may contain unseen variables to arrive at a conclusion. Example- The 2011 draft of KJ Wright (R-4) & Sherman (R-5) was knocked down to a A- because neither Carpenter (R-1) or Moffitt (R-3) became an OL solution...
