    Chabs ain't it

Lacey and Jones were better runners, easily. Lacey would be better WHILE eating that Chinese food

    Throwing way to much.

We have no choice. Charbs is as effective as a fishnet condom. We HAVE to throw.

    Chabs ain't it

He runs to darkness as I said. And is slow. He's lucky to get 2, honestly. No exaggerating....what RB in Seahawk history that started was worse? (As a runner)

    Chabs ain't it

Honestly, Charbs might be the worst RB to ever start a Seahawk game. I'm scratching my head thinking of another. If the play doesn't involve him blocking or catching the ball, and we don't need just 1 yard...it's probably the wrong play

    Chabs ain't it

Charbs is great catching passes in the flat. But he is slow to accelerate and runs to darkness. Not a guy you give the ball to shotgun or far off the LOS. Remember Turbin? Turbin was much better. He's a FB playing RB

22 yards rushing in the first half

Charbs is a FB. We keep using him as a RB. Hence the low yardage

    Charbs as a runner

Good lord. If you need 2 yards, he'll get you 2. If you need 8, he'll get you 2. Decent as a target in the passing game. But pretty much garbage as a runner. Makes Homer look like Barry Sanders. Unless you need 1 or 2 yards, a waste of a down

Was it actually OPI on DK?

He was certainly holding either way

    I have a question

Vanilla is foolish. Old but true saying: You fight like you train. Either evaluate guys how you'd use them in real life (or in what like they'd face in real games) or don't bother. I like blitzing in pre-season. We should want opponents doing it. Because now we'll know if our guys can pick up...

Article says Broncos will blow Hawks out in opener

Even if there is a blow out...would it matter? One loss, even a bad one, would make sense if a team is getting ready to play for a new coach in a new system with all new predilections/tendencies. What seems it would matter more is the progress from Game 1 to the season's midpoint. And ideally...

    Cousins Penix saga

Thats weird. Let's look at his best team, the Division winning Vikings with at least 12 wins. You implied it was the OL. You sure it wasn't a 3 yd checkdown on 4th and 8 that lost the game for them? The problem likely wasn't the line. More that Cousins shrinks in the playoffs. (BTW Daniel...

    Cousins Penix saga

You might want to talk to Jets fans about what 'paying big money to an aging QB and no backup plan for when he goes down' looks like. Signing Cousins seems more about sating fans in Atlanta so they can keep selling tickets. If Cousins does that, even when he flames out in the playoffs...

    Cousins Penix saga

If you buy fire insurance, and the house does not burn down over the entire time you insure it - did you 'waste' your money? It's a weird take that getting a young QB in case an old recently injured QB gets injured again is a mistake. The SB take is even weirder. No player the Falcons get could...

If the NFL announced switch to flag football

Your larger issue isn't likely flag football. More likely distribution/availability. There is a very real chance that what happened with Peacock (and Amazon but most people don't care about the Amazon thing because 1. They already had Prime and 2. People really don't care that much about Thur...

    Post UDFA's here

Im still confused why in an NFL where pass rushing is a premium, Zion Tupuola-Fetui (ZTF) is not getting an invite to any camp. And if so, WTH the Seahawks are not at least bringing him in for a look. He was better than that crappy LB that DID get drafted in the 5th the Huskies kept rolling out...

    Free agent signings

I'm reading ZTF got no UDFA offers. Is that correct? Did he shoot a puppy? What's going on? He's a great pass rusher coming off an injury, but still a great pass rusher (weirder that his teammate got drafted in the 5th!)

Falcons send contingent to scout Penix

The owner probably forced them to get Cousins so they had a QB to sell to the fans. But that guy is a 12 year vet with ONE playoff win. He won't get another....no matter who you draft. (That Vikings team was stacked. The weak link was Cousins) Not trusting Cousins made sense.

    Niners catching flak for pick

He's a stud. If this is the Niners' 'mistake' they are just fine.
  19. T

    Penix

Cousins is a 3 team vet with less than 3 total playoff wins. But the money was already spent. You don't compound that mistake by not trying to get better. Penix will likely be better. So the pick makes sense to me, even if signing Cousins in the first place didn't.

Schneider tried to trade up for Penix

Been watching college football for over 20 years. Not sure I've seen what Penix did. He went to Indiana, then somehow got INDIANA #7 in the country. He also beat Michigan and Penn State back when Penn State was good. He then went to UW, a team that had won 4 games. He took that team to the NC...
