I think it's simple with Emerson playing well at 3B and and Young at 2B where does that leave Donovan. Maybe left field but Randy is playing well too bat wise. I like we are having these talks but does he now because out unilty guy maybe?

Donovan has outfield experience, and I'm sure I'll get blasted for it, but I wouldn't be one bit surprised if Donovan is as good or better in the outfield. Gives Randy a chance to DH from time to time. If he doesn't like it, too bad.

I think at this point it might be his only spot besides giving 3B and 2B a break time to time. I think we could also we either Dom or Luke get traded at the deadline for another bull pen arm. It's starting to look like we have to many outfielders.

The odd man out should be JP Crawford, but the team won't do it because they're stuck in archaic baseball unwritten rules of players having "earned" their spot from past performance. JP should have never been the starting shortstop this year based on his play NOW.

Since they're likely to force feed us JP for the rest of the year in order not to hurt his ego in his last year as a Mariner, they'll probably have to trade a lefty outfielder and get back whatever they can (Dom or Luke).

They need to move Emerson to SS soon. I like JP but his defense has been subpar this year. Im sure he'll be okay with being moved as long as he is still playing.
