Yep. A big reason why this team had the best Defense in the NFL was that depth on the D Line.
I'd rather we not trade for him, even if only for a 4th round pick. I don't think he will be much of an upgrade over our younger DEs like Gaines, O'Toole, or Hubbard.
If we make a trade I think it should be for a game changing type of player or one who is elite at his position.
11.5 sacks in the 2023 season. Giants aren’t the greatest team either. In this defense I think he would do very well.Thibodeaux has been very unproductive in his time with the Giants, so I'm not sure he's worth investing resources in, especially since there's limited team control with him.
Pass rush is a position I feel you can never have too many of. Worst case it keeps guys fresh.I'd rather we not trade for him, even if only for a 4th round pick. I don't think he will be much of an upgrade over our younger DEs like Gaines, O'Toole, or Hubbard.

Agree that Hall & KT would be a good tandem baseline for 2027, + whomever they add in the draft next year.I agree with @LeveeBreak that we need to restock the position. We've done well to keep a 2-deep rotation at OLB, but DLaw, Nwosu, and Fowler are all over 30 in 2027 and DLaw will be the only one under contract.
DLaw may also retire. He'll be 35, so there is the likelihood his play may drop off or he could get injured even if he stays, meaning we could only have 1 of 4 starters left after the 2026 season.
KT (and Hall) are 25, so it would be the right time to acquire him. The only issue I have with getting him now is where would he play? I guess Fowler's contract is only $5M, but still, that's $5M in addition to KT's $14.5M and only one will see the field.
If one of our 4 starting OLB get injured before the trade deadline, then that day 2 pick may be necessary to keep our Super Bowl hopes alive. You would want some indication you could resign KT of course, and Hall and KT would be a good core to have inked until 2030.
It's something to watch as the season goes on.
This team would bring the most out of him..He’s a freaking freak, our vets and coaches will motivate and challenge him, he will respond, his ceiling is top 5 edge rusher all pro

Wow that's a lot of faith in guys that weren't even considered draftable. A 4 year starter not being an upgrade over wet behind the ears long shot UDFA's? SMH.
I said he lives there. Is that shade?Throwing shade at West Virginia, huh?
Interesting.
