Just a reminder that there always seems to be one or two of these agreements that doesn’t pan out. So don’t be surprised if someone agrees now and ends up somewhere else.

The exciting part is John always seems to find some gems.

I'm still surprised that Fano wasn't drafted.

I really like Seahawks signing the UDFA (DE/OLB) Aidan Hubbard 6'4" 255 lbs, Northwestern. Somewhat explosive testing number of a 38 1/2 vertical jump and 10ft broad jump. He had 7 sacks and 10.5 tackles for loss last year.

He plays like he has a good 10-yard split and good agility for his size...Seahawks may have found a jem!

Are you talking about Spencer Fano, who was drafted at #9 by Cleveland? Is there another Fano?
What @Floridahawk79 just said.

Also, I heard he was signed by the Browns as a Free Agent so he'll get to play with his Brother which is pretty cool.

But I wanted him at 255 (our final pick) but we got Eastern. meh. I trust in JS/MM but that is a headscratcher for me.

Love these stories. UDFA's have had a ton of success with the Hawks over the years. Just look at the SB48 team, several were on that roster. The draft is cool and all, but you can't measure heart in the draft alone. Guys getting their opportunity and making the most of it, good stuff.

I doubt we are going to get the cream of the crop. If i'm a UDFA looking to make a roster I likely don't go to this current Seattle team with few holes.
