Although we picked Beau Stephens, a good player for the future in Round 5, I would like to see us upgrade significantly for the coming season by bringing in Joel Bitonio to play right guard. Not only is he still playing at a very high level, but he could be another coach on the playing field like Kupp and Lawrence, a player who would elevate everyone around him.

The other player I would like us to get, without giving up a compensatory pick in ‘27, is Dante Fowler, Jr. who would give us another experienced defensive end to spell D Law. Picking Price at 32 took us out of the market for a quality edge rusher, so Fowler would provide a good stopgap until we can draft a great edge rusher in ‘27.

Why would we wait until June 1 when those guys are free agents now?

Because on June 1st we can pick up free agents without losing our fourth round compensatory draft picks in 2027.

They changed it in recent years so free agents signed after the draft don't count towards the compensatory pick formula.

I'm fine with Beau, not Bitonio. Fowler yes please.

Beau Stephens would be a good player for the present if it was up to me, @godawg .

Anything to get Bradford off that line (I don't care about the "improvements" people here claim he made. His lateral movement remains the issue and I see no fixing that.

He is what he is. Thank goodness this is the final year of his deal (and thus, the final year as a Seahawk)

Just curious. Why "no" on Bitonio? He's still playing at a high level. I think Lawrence and Kupp proved the value of this type of acquisition. I'd prefer to count on the rookie showing enough to earn the job. But if he's not ready, would you rather have Bradford or Bitonio at RG?
