Pick #32 straight up for Crosby, hell yes. Will they want more? Sure. But..........IF that was the deal, make it happen.
I would be surprised if the Raiders took such an offer, but also not sure I'd want it - seems like RB and defensive back are our biggest needs. Some will disagree, but I think there will still be a decent RB in the second round - good athletes there who have different skillsets. I think JS will grab one in the 2nd.

Now the Raiders are gonna act like they are fine with keeping him just to drive up his trade value again. Do not believe that BS for one second. I'd give them pick 32 and maybe throw in a little extra like a mid rounder next year. If that's not enough, walk away.

what’re you talking about? It’s like you’ve never paid attention to football. We’re about to have to pay major money for key players like spoon, Jsn, Murphy, nick and most likely zabel at some point. Like you understand there’s a cap right? Kinda seems like you live in lala land and just assume we can spend ridiculous money on everyone. John and Mike have a plan, they’ve identified the key guys and will continue to build in drafts and bring in/sign supporting cast.
They play Madden with the Salary Cap off and trades set to easy.

You can't blame the Raiders for doing that. They just got screwed and they have to try to protect the value of their assets.

Oh, I don't blame them at all. I'd do the same thing. Just don't believe any reports from "insiders" saying the Raiders are content with keeping him. He's getting traded.

Kinda hoping we're out given how they've been drafting recently. Hope they can trade down and keep filling the team out with youth.

That said, if its just pick 32 in a weak draft... hell, guess you gotta pull the trigger there. Highly doubt that bid would move the needle.

Physicals by teams are subjective, every team has it's own standards. They knew he was still really recovering and may have just got pissed they lost their Center to the Raiders whom they wanted to resign, got pissy aboiut it and said we can screw them this way with Hendrickson avaialble for cheaper.

If the deal was never contingent on Crosby passing a physical, then the Ravens turn around and use that reasoning anyway?? Wild stuff.

Correct me if I’m wrong? didn’t Crosby just have knee surgery? last I saw on his podcast he was limping around. So my question is why would anyone in that condition be able to pass an NFL physical? I just think the ravens had gotten cold feet and backed away. That’s a BS type organization I would not do business with them in the future if I wasn’t an NFL team.

I've been watching Crosby tape and sure, he's a good player, but that dude rubs me the wrong way for some reason. It seems like he's all about himself and not a team player. I am very protective of our Seahawks culture here and I think Crosby may be a locker room problem. I'm getting Jamal Adams vibes and EVRYBODY knows I HATED Adams, that arrogant POS.

I don't want Crosby because he's got a serious knee issue, it sounds
like it may be some time if at all he's near playing shape with it.
I also DO NOT want to lose draft capital, we need to build up the TEAM,
not one player.
As one said above, we won a title without him, he's a luxury not a need.

In his defense, that team fuggin' suuuuucks...so I would be too if I were him. I'm trying to get paid and dip out elsewhere after my contract is up, lol.

This was what that guy at the Athletic wrote about him in his draft profile

From The Beast:

STRENGTHS: Modest build but runs stronger and more violent than he looks … sees the field well, pre- and post-snap … anticipates blocking and pursuit angles, and he adjusts his footwork to press the hole and cut accordingly … decisive short-area burst once the lane develops, allowing him to patch together multiple moves … has a knack for avoiding or stepping out of tackle attempts because of his acceleration … runs with a determination for the sticks … dependable hands in the screen game … six fumbles in his career, but none in 2023 … outstanding mental and physical toughness — seems to get better with lather to grind out yards late in games … averaged 7.5 yards per punt return (12/90/0) … his coaches and teammates unanimously praise his drive and unselfish nature.

WEAKNESSES: Runs with physicality but creates average knee churn and will struggle to power through congestion (NFL scout: “I really thought he would be bigger in person.”) … not a twitchy start-stop runner that will make NFL linebackers miss in the hole … looks great in pass pro on some tapes (vs. Washington in 2023), but shaky on others (vs. Fresno State) … battled several injuries over the last four seasons: strained leg muscle in the 2023 opener that forced him to miss the next six games; missed three games (and parts of others) as he fought through a hamstring injury during the 2021 season; missed four games and eventually took a redshirt for 2020 after he was sidelined with a torn left MCL … limited special-teams resume, aside from punt returns … will turn 25 years old late in his rookie season.

SUMMARY: A four-year starter at Boise State, Holani was part of the backfield mix in former offensive coordinator Bush Hamdan’s multiple -run scheme. (Hamdan was one of five different offensive coordinators Holani had during his college career). After a breakout freshman season, Holani battled multiple injuries over the last four years, but he was consistently productive when available and finished his career No. 5 all-time in rushing yards at Boise State (just behind Jay Ajayi). As one might expect given his rugby background, Holani runs with physicality, patience and a great feel for run angles to give tacklers the slip and consistently maximize what is in front of him. Though toughness is his calling card, NFL scouts say he might be too tough for his own good and that he’ll need to be protected from himself to keep his name off the injury report.

Overall, Holani isn’t super twitchy, and his injury history might be an issue, but he has outstanding reactive instincts and a well-rounded skill set that NFL coaches will trust in any situation. He can be a depth piece on an NFL roster.
Ah yes... the Athletic

The Raiders have 50 mill with Crosby on the team and a better defensive cast plus high picks. I don't think they have to do anything. Trade Crosby next year.
