Well that sucked. Hopefully Gilbert's arm tightness is as minor as it sounds. I'm sure they'll do MRIs and such so we won't know for a day or so. If it's just muscle soreness he might not even miss a start. If it's tendonitis it could mean some time off. 
Funny how one error by Moore led to all that shit in one inning.
At least Lawrence gave us some innings to rest the rest of the pen. Guys should be available this weekend on a more normal basis.

Gilbert is being placed on the 15 day IL with a mild flexor strain in his pitching elbow. No throwing for 2 weeks then he'll be re-examined to determine the next steps in his rehab.
Logan Evans is being called up and will get the start tomorrow. It will be his MLB debut.

If Moore can keep chugging... Rivas stay steady, we have a very solid infield... Minus JP for batting.. except his walks and extended at bats.
Can we just bring Locklear back up now for a first baseman who can hit around the mendoza line?

My wife and I were literally just talking about why not just bring up Locklear and give him a legit shot at 1B. There's no chance he'll be as bad as Solano, and I like his chances of being at least as good as Tellez (not that that's a high bar).
