Excellent contract. I thought he’d get 13-14 mill. Keeps the core on D intact and can focus on building the O through this years draft. I still wouldn’t mind a menace on the edge though.

Definitely nice it’s closer to 10 apy than $15-20.

Definitely nice you extended a player that was a nice fit, more or less fixed your Defense, has leadership qualities that can Captain your defense and makes losing that 4th rounder much easier to swallow now.

Definitely nice the backbone of MacDonald’s D is going to be more stabilized up the middle than this time last year now with Jones signed long-term, Coby Bryant stepping up, and talented players like Murphy and Knight moving forward in their experience.

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL news. Thought he’d end up settling around $40 million so this is great news

Anyone else surprised he signed for a fairly team-friendly deal?

I at least thought his agent might have been hoping for more…

Go after a couple of the top FA IOL. Dalman, Fries, Kelly, Daniels, Banks. Stack the OL and it makes life easier for everybody on the offense. That would make the draft wide open (wide opener more than usual) and pretty exciting with the picks they should have.

I
Locker room cancer was the report. Not sure if that was here though. Glad it got done. Bobby was already re signed...
Yeah not buying that as he seems to be just fine and played ball at a high level.

Was Bolton's deal 3 years $45 million? When I heard that one I figured that would be the top of the Jone deal but a lot closer to that that what this contract seems t obe.

It looks like to control cap costs that the Seahawks will be heavily investing on offense via the draft but free agency could change that too.
